Offseason buys

Postby lawilt » Sun Jan 26, 2020 5:05 pm

Who do y'all think could jump into DE1 or LB1 territory next year and is worth buying right now?

Always watching Carl Lawson as someone who can finally become a DE1, but my enthusiasm for him has faded a bit. But hey, he's dirt cheap, and Carlos Dunlap is 30 and has to stop playing some time, right?

I thought the same thing about Heyward but he just put up a huge season.

Montez Sweat is a guy I’m looking at, still an LB on fleaflicker but should move to DE with Washington switching to a 4-3.

Anybody seen any trades for him lately?

Be on the lookout for the possibility that Kwiatkoski becomes a starter in Chicago.

I got him after a recent dispersal draft. I was super deep at WR, so I traded Alshon for him straight up. Then I flipped him, a late 2nd, and a late 3rd for Allen Robinson. I would say there are some people pretty excited about him.

I recently acquired him in a balanced scoring 10 team league.

Gave: Devin Bush, Jadeveon Clowney, Jarrad Davis, James Washington and Diontae Johnson

Received: Darius Leonard, Montez Sweat, 1.10

Was looking to acquire Kwiatkoski, but CHI just re-signed Trevathan. So now its a crap shoot as to where Kwait is going to be playing.
I only play in 16x53 with 10+ taxi size leagues with full IDP. All are PPR and most value return yardage. So my opinions may be skewed To these deep roster leagues.

Dynasty Fantasy is not a game, it’s a full time hobby.

Jonathan Allen DE could make a splash if moving to DT in the new Washington alignment. They are expected to stand PAT with Haskins and select another DL in the first round. DT premium leagues should look to add/trade for him at zero cost.
Just a guy who loves fantasy football - specifically defense.

I'm not seeing any Allen shares getting sold cheaply, unfortunately. My favorite cheap buy this off-season is Kerrigan, in the hopes that he either stays in Washington and becomes a 4-3 DE, or goes to a team that has a 4-3 in place.

What would you pay draft pick wise for Kerrigan?
