DK Metcalf Price Check

This is for team 4 in sig. Full pt PPR. I'm getting quite a few inquiries for DK Metcalf but all the offers seem really light and all my league mates are telling me I'm overvaluing him, obviously I don't think so. I told them I would need picks that projected as high 1st and high 2nd or 2 decent (mid range) 1sts. Especially since most of these offers include 2021 picks.

Metcalf is worth the 1.04-1.06 pick range to me.

I would ask your league mates if he's not that valuable why are you getting so many inquiries? Lol. I would need at least an early 1st to consider selling. Respectable production as a rookie. Proved a lot of people doubting things like his route running and agility wrong. Has all the talent and physical traits you want in a WR1. I suspect he will transition into that role for Seattle soon, maybe even as soon as next year. Basically what you're hoping for out of any early 1st round WR.

Early 1st and mid 2nd to get my meter moving. He's going and only scratching the surface of his potential. He ran a limited route tree at ole miss cause that's all he needed to win vs DBs in college. The Seahawks started him out with that same plan early last season, but as the season went on you could see him improving in many areas. That includes his route running. He's still raw, but a total freak.

I think Metcalf should be valued near Jeudy/Lamb territory right now. With DK, you have seen what you are getting and you know he's a good fit. I'd want something like 1.04/2.04 at the moment. That feels fair. More draft capital but more possibility of a draft bust.

With uncertainty about his ability to run routes in NFL he was a top 4/5 pick last year so I can only imagine he is worth more now. I can't imagine too many DK owners are looking to sell

He was arguably a top 5 pick last year. I dunno who would be looking to sell him for less. I would want a very high 1st and a late 1st.

I was just offerred 1.03 for him, I declined. You're drafting hoping to hit on a future stud and a bonus if he goes to a good spot. Metcalf is that already, so I'd need another decent pick on top

Title says 2021 picks, most the responses are talking 2020 picks

I don’t think I’d be too interested in a 2021 pick as the main piece to give up DK, even if I projected it early. Unless of course it’s coming with a lot more. Something like a projected early and a 2nd in 2021 wouldn’t get it done for me.

Also want to echo, I think it’s odd when people tell other people they are overvaluing a guy. That’s... exactly what this game is. Value guys how you want.
