I like Shenault as the versatile weapon that Deebo is showing to be, but Deebo was much more refined as a WR than Laviska. Deebo is a good WR that is super versatile player. LS is a super versatile player that still has a decent amount of development as a WR.Forza_Azzurri wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 9:15 pm I’ll probably get burned by this ... but after watching Deebo become a match-up nightmare over the last two months, I’m moving Shenault up my board ... I think Buffalo is an interesting landing spot for him because I feel like they could utilize his versatility and they could use his height/contested catch ability.

Etienne and Chuba. I had no interest in Harris, I viewed Hubbard as a guy who might get a boost from the combine, and probably would be in that 6th-10th zone, but now he's out and it will be harder to steal Akers.
As for not understanding it. Neither do I, and I think at the end, in a lot of cases, it's bad advice, it's enjoying playing for the team, loyalty to the coach, it's all the things except:
*Good Luck getting the 2nd contract.
*You guys have an artificially low ceiling on career earnings.
And those last two points are critical, and the most important, and are always ignored by a couple of idiots. I can get Love because he views the NFL as just part 1 of his career, he wanted to be a Stanford Grad. The rest of these guys are just clueless about the cost to them of going back.

Agreed. I don't know if he will translate too well. So many manufactured touches vs less than stellar opponents. He doesn't "wow" me at all. I liked what I saw from Deebo in college a lot more.alewilliam789 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 7:44 amI like Shenault as the versatile weapon that Deebo is showing to be, but Deebo was much more refined as a WR than Laviska. Not sure if it'll go this way in the draft, but I've got him as a top 5 WR in this class.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 7:52 pmHe wasn't invited to the Senior Bowl, and he pulled out of the Shrine Bowl to train for the combine, I believe. Seems the community is very split on Shenault. I'm not surprised. You either love him or not. No real in between.

For sure. Really it comes down to how much you value route running, and whether you think it's something that Shenault will be able to develop.
For every raw guy that's panned out, there's a Percy Harvin or a Tavon Austin waiting to give you pause.
Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
I understand the questions and skepticism around him, but I love him. I tend to be aggressive on going after upside over safer prospects and think he could be a star, so I'm willing to take the risk on him at the right price (1.08ish as of now). However, while I typically don't get swayed by situation and landing spot on rookies, he is one guy that landing spot will be very important. He needs an open-minded, creative HC and/or OC who will use him in multiple ways and maximize his talents.

Really starting to think Dobbins should be the top back in this class, and 1.01.

I read somewhere that a lot of scouts have Aiyuk graded higher than they had Hary past year. Looking like a quick riser.

I've liked Shenault too but I don't see any RBs listed. I’m starting to agree. He’s right there with swift for 1 and 2. Taylor is clearly 3 to me. DLF’s ranks came out and they have dobbins as rb 3 and overall he’s there number 5 rookie. I think my top five areFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2020 12:10 am Really starting to think Dobbins should be the top back in this class, and 1.01.

Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
I get the point you're trying to make, but Percy Harvin started the first three years of his career with two WR2 finishes and a WR1 finish prior to being a top 5 overall scorer at WR half way through his 4th year before getting hurt. It was really injuries that derailed his career.
Matt Jones is a better example

Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
I can't tell if owning the 1.2 is a curse a or a win this year. I'll like having my pick of the litter, but the stress associated with it is messing with my head.
I'll obviously still take BPA no matter what, but RB isn't a huge pressing need for me so I'm shopping around. Hopefully once draft day gets closer I'll get some meaty offers.
Who would you trade straight up for 1.2? Would people sell low on Juju? Evans? Godwin? Where's the Mendoza line?
