What is the worst trade you have ever made?

This past July I made the worst trade of my dynasty career, giving in a Superflex:

Michael Thomas, Josh Jacobs, Tom Brady, DK Metcalf and a 2020 1st

for:

Odell Beckham Jr., Cam Newton, Sony Michel, Ronald Jones and a 2020 2nd

Yikes, thats just bad luck lmao, you got burnt on every asset you received minus the pick

2011 startup draft, I grabbed Jimmy Graham in the 6th & Gronk in the 12th round.

Shortly after the draft, I traded Gronk & Golden Tate away for Mike Thomas (JAX version) & Lance Kendricks.

This one probably didn’t hurt as bad until graham left NO, but still….ouch

Before the 2018 season, I traded Tyreek and RoJo for Ballage, Manny Sanders and Drake. It was actually paying off well until Sanders got hurt last year. I was able to swing Drake for Monty and Hollywood shortly after this season ended. They all seem so good at the time...

If you're among those valuing Hill as a top 3 dynasty WR, then yeah that's pretty bad. Ballage is effectively worthless. But if you're of the mindset that you just don't want Hill on your team, whether for risk of off-field interest or because of character judgments, at least you got some quality (?) younger assets to develop. If either Monty or RoJo turns things around it'll look better.

Fighting too many more experienced WRs for a starting or primary depth spot, I decided to sell a young WR the Steelers took in the 6th. It was a 14 team league where picks were hard to get, so I was happy to get Alex Smith and a 2nd for a 4th, Jason Campbell and Antonio Brown. QB and pick upgrade for selling a hyped sleeper youngster in a crowded depth chart.

Traded away Antonio Gates for Darren McFadden + Kellen Winslow Jr.
Winslow was trash and McFadden was long gone from my team before he had his one good season. Gates smashed for several years.

I drafted...then traded...then traded for...then traded away again Antonio Brown all before he really popped. Don’t even remember the others involved because it was a bunch of nothing. Never got to use prime Antonio.

This trade did help me compete for a championship (I came in 2nd place in a 24 team league), but mid-season I traded away Julio for Lacy & Foles (the year both were actually good).

2017, first year in a fantasy. After drafting a shitty team (first pick was Michael Thomas, but I forgot around week 10-11). Tried to get my hands on some future picks and after a couple of bad games from him, I traded him for a 3rd round pick. Since it's a 5-keepers league, I basically traded my 1st pick overall for an 8th rounder. lol

Carson's fumbleitis earlier this year coincided with my need for a starting RB so I gambled and sent Golladay for Penny only to have Carson retain the starting role and Penny miss a couple more games with some injury or another. Watched Golladay put up the season I was expecting him to have on somebody else's roster.

Get ready to hear a really terrible deal. As you can see my team below has been stacked and to put me over the top for this year, at the end of last year I traded a 2020 1st round pick for Antonio Brown and Dante Pettis. The 2020 pick was projected to be high and ended up being the 1.1 . Antonio Brown didn’t play more than a single game ever from that point onwards!! Pettis literally didn’t do anything the entire season. Luckily, at the beginning of this season when AB got signed with the Pats I had a 3 day period in which I moved him, David Johnson and a late 1st for kamara, but still...

This is what it ended up being:

Traded away Derrick Henry for Rashad Penny at the start of the 2018 season because I was sick of him being so underused his first 2 season and 3rd season looking like the same, worried he'd never get anything so sell now while I can still get a 1st round rookie to re-roll on.

Of course, end of his 3rd year he breaks out and this 4th year he's the monster I thought he had been since the beginning, but coaches kept giving Dion freaking Lewis and Demarco Murray work over him

I dropped him right before he broke out last year, I had enough of it. I apparently needed this other RB that just put up back to back 100 yard games...Gus Edwards. I then, for some reason, dropped Edwards for a kicker. So, yep, I essentially dropped Henry for a kicker.
