Sutton+ vs Cooper+

Postby DLF_TylerK » Thu Jan 09, 2020 10:16 am

I just dealt Amari and 1.08 for Sutton and 1.04 in a superflex league for team not in sig. I figured that I was basically guaranteed a high-end asset at 1.04 and I'm relatively low on Amari and high on Sutton. Thoughts?

I think you sold Amari a little low. I think the difference between Cooper and Sutton is bigger than four picks. Maybe Amari and a second rounder for Sutton and a first would be closer.

Sutton and the 1.04 I think. I like Cooper but he's too up and down; he's the most inconsistent 220+ point receiver there is; 30 points one week and 3 then next. Sutton is at least consistent, and in this draft I think the 1.04 is well worth the move over the 1.08

Sutton side. Good package both ways though depending on build and need.

I think the value is on the Sutton side. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people preferred Sutton to Cooper straight up.

I really need some extra players. Like I'm short on starting Flex players, we start all flex starters + the QB and SF. I figured the RB I get at 1.04 will be an immediate starter or I'll get Tua there whereas at 1.08 I'm not going to get that level of player. So considering I have Sutton and Cooper almost equal, it seemed like a good move.

Personally I value Sutton >= Cooper, and 1.04 > 1.08. I like it a lot.

I like the Sutton side better. It’s close enough between Cooper and Sutton that going from the 1.08 to 1.04, definitely makes up the difference.

As a Cooper owner, his inconsistency is maddening. I would happily take this deal in a SF.

WR: Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, DJ Moore, Diontae Johnson, Chris Godwin, Terry McLaurin, Kadarius Toney, Jayden Reed, John Metchie, Justyn Ross,
TE: George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson, Chigoziem Okonkwo, Sam LaPorta (TX), Isaiah Likely, Luke Schoonmaker (IR)

Sutton had a nice year. I expect even bigger things next year. I like the Sutton side here.
