The last two years, 14 of the 24 playoff teams weren't in the playoffs the year before.
Last year's playoff teams (listed by seeding)-
KC, NE, Houston, Baltimore, LAC, Indy
NO, Rams, Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, Philly
Who you think makes/misses the playoffs this year?
Without looking at schedules too closely (or at all), I'm calling-
NE, Pittsburgh, Houston, KC, LAC, JAC
Philly, Atlanta, Chicago, GB, Dallas, SF

Correct calls- NE, Houston, KC, Philly, GB, SF.
I was proud of my GB and SF calls. Both missed the playoffs last year.
Missed on- Pitt (Big Ben getting injured killed), LAC, JAC, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas.
Made playoffs, but I didn't predict- Baltimore, Tennessee, Buffalo, NO, Minnesota, Seattle.
I tried to pick teams that were well rounded. Good offense, good defense. Minnesota was an oversight, but Baltimore, Buffalo and Tennessee had offense concerns and NO and Seattle defense ones. Jacksonville was a bad call, but I guess I was banking hard in Foles magic and the defense.
Given I made these calls months before the season even started, not bad. It woulda been more fun if more had participated. I love making these predictions in my fantasy leagues.
