Why? It was the right call. The Raiders knew they couldn't make the playoffs. You go for 2, and the game ends either way. You don't try and prolong a meaningless game. All you are doing is risking your players to injury. It was the right call given the circumstances.

Browns saddled a rookie HC with too many big personalities and it didn't work. If they're going to do the same thing next season, then they need a veteran HC who can lead, like Ron Rivera.

Yeah, but that should have been rendered pointless. The NFL can't get their act together. It's pathetic. The TV booth/coverage has a better handle on the game than they do. DPI should have been reviewed. It was so obviously PI. The NFL just continues to destroy the quality of their product, with their inability to manage the officiating and replay properly. The division title was on the line, and they blew it.
