Darrell Henderson
Re: Darrell Henderson
I'm so excited to discuss gurley/Henderson for the next 9 months.
I'm a Gurley owner but I would still find it hilarious if the rams drafted an RB in the 2and just to make Henderson truthers jump off a bridge. I'm that petty

Rams are toast anyway. Might as blow some picks while they're burning through cap killing contracts
Re: Darrell Henderson
But... But... He looked so good against Mercer and Southern Alabama!
Re: Darrell Henderson
The thing is, though, he did look SO good. It’s one thing to look great against lesser talents schools, but he was a notch above most of the greats at that level of competition. Like how Kupp was just that much more dominant than the other dominators at his level.
The speed at which he cuts, those rapid jab steps, those aren’t just a mirage from the “slow defenders.” That elite fast twitch is there. High level NFL running skills are there imo. I’m just worried about the scheme fit that DLF Mike has pointed out numerous times. That and the opportunity block.

Re: Darrell Henderson
That could be seen vs the 49ers this year. He's got talent, but again, it's a different scheme, and he has clearly not gained the trust of the staff yet. For people to write him off already is a mistake, IMO. If people are willing to jump ship, and trade him for a late 2nd or early 3rd, I'm in.Valhalla wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:54 amThe thing is, though, he did look SO good. Re: Darrell Henderson
People would be stupid to take anything less than mid 2and for him. That was his value in the summer and that's his value now. Nothing I've seen this year has raised or lowered his value. He's a raw rookie been 2 really good backs.

Re: Darrell Henderson
His value over the summer easily inflated to a mid 1st. I saw a league he went like 3rd overall, and he went 1.07 in both of my later rookie drafts. He was the most popular and talked about player on this forum.
Re: Darrell Henderson
Sorry I misspoke. A mid to late 2nd is what is TRUE value was. Someone took him at 1.03 in one of my leagues.

Re: Darrell Henderson
I'd agree on the mid-2nd value, although with the depth of this class, I'd probably rather have the pick.
He went mid-1st in my league and the owner refuses to deal him for less than a 1st, so he'll likely own him forever.

Re: Darrell Henderson
Yes he did. Week 6. Malcolm Brown was named the starter and received the bulk of the carries.
I didn't rate DH in my top RBs at any point in my rankings. Nothing has changed for me. I rated Singletary much higher.

Re: Darrell Henderson
I got him for a 4th round pick in a 24 team, 8 keeper league about 6 weeks ago. Obviously that owner lost confidence in him. I think he may get some more opportunities next season, depending on what's happening with Gurley. I'm still hoping for an ekeler trajectory. He didn't get many opportunities in his first season either.
Re: Darrell Henderson
Your team must be terrible if you don't have 8 players worth keeping over him.Kurt G.O.A.T. wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 6:42 pm I got him for a 4th round pick in a 24 team, 8 keeper league about 6 weeks ago.
