Interesting Dilemma

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Interesting Dilemma

Postby Houptie » Wed Dec 18, 2019 11:45 am

Playing in a dynasty superflex league. I have Dak, Kyler, Daniel Jones and some other speculative guys (andrew luck fingers crosses). I also have picks 1&2 and will most likely be taking Burrow and Tua if things dont change by draft time. So my QB depth is very good.

We have an interesting set of rules in our league that put me into a dilemma.
1st- it is an empire league, if someone wins back to back or 3/5 years, then the league dissolves/redrafts.

2nd and more importantly- the champion of the league cannot trade until the next years championship is done. the team that I would have to guess will win the championship is thin at QB. He only has Darnold, Winston, Dalton. He is interested in acquiring Daniel Jones.

First of all, how much is Daniel Jones worth in a regular superflex dynasty, then how much more could I get knowing he is kinda screwed with horrible depth if he wins. Lastly, do I need even more in return knowing I could help him end the league? His bench is barren, doesnt have a 2020 1st but has every othe pick.

Wow, very interesting rules here. Heading into next year, I could see Jones being worth 2 1st round picks. His hype will grow and he will likely be on a ton of "breakout" lists this summer.

Stopped reading after the second rule. What a terrible idea.

Yeah, I don't really know how to answer your second question since I probably wouldn't enjoy playing in a league like that...but as far as Jones' value in a regular SF, he should probably be worth somewhere around a mid/late 1st.

I would trade him for a player that can help you win the league. like an RB1.
