Week 16

Postby JakeOfSpades » Tue Dec 17, 2019 9:53 am

I have posted a message seeking lineup advice here for the past two weeks. And for the past two week's I have won my matchups. What this tells me is that the folks on this forum are awesome and that they know what they are talking about. So here we are in week 16, going for the big championship.

And now I ask, who would you choose to start in week 16?

Active Roster Requirements:
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
1 Flex
1 DST

Here is who I have:
QB: Watson, Mayfield, Lock
RB: Chubb, Mixon, Drake, Mack
WR: Hopkins, Westbrook, Beckham, Boyd, Johnson, N'Keal Harry, Schuster (If Reactivated), Greg Ward, Isaiah Ford
TE: Kittle, Goedert, Njoku
K: Zuerlein
DST: Buccaneers

(I know what your thinking, sure has a lot of players from Ohio teams. And yes that is true, but being born and bred in Ohio, all I have to say is "Go Bucks!")

Current Free agency / Available on Waivers who I might consider:
WR: Breshad Perriman
K: Ka'imi Fairbairn (HOU), Younghoe Koo (ATL)
DST: Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Houston Texans, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers

My Instinct:
QB: Watson
RB: Mixon, Chubb
WR: Hopkins, Perriman?
TE: Kittle
Flex: Mack
DST: Broncos

Who would you start? Thanks in advance.

This looks pretty spot on. Sounds like Godwin will sit this week and someone has to catch the ball in Tampa. Flex Drake may be a better option then Mack if you want to gamble a bit

I agree with this, I think Drake gives much higher upside, but Mack has a safer floor.

Agreed all around, I'd lean Drake and Perriman if you are a dog but Mack and maybe OBJ (in place of Perriman) if you are a favorite.

Also, I don't know that it matters, but I went ahead and picked up Mike Boone (Vikings) so that my opposition wasn't able to grab this player.

I would start Drake over Mack as well.
