Kamara-Mixon next year

Postby The Showstopper » Mon Dec 16, 2019 12:01 pm

What do you think the gap is between these guys next year?

I’m thinking of offering Kamara and Guise for Mixon and Evans for team 2 in sig.

What do you guys think?

That's tough. I went Kamara side but could easily go Evans side. IF Guise can stay healthy I think that's the better combo due to Mixon situation.

In a vacuum im taking Mixon and Evans pretty easily here. Whether this deal gets done or not really depends how the target owner feels about Guice.

Mixon and Evans for me. You get two borderline elite assets vs an elite asset and a guy who flat can't stay on the field. This could look different coming out of 2020, but I would gamble on the Mixon side.

This is easily Evans + Mixon for me.
(1) No injury concerns, provided that Evans injury is a simple hamstring pull and he's being shutdown just because its end of season with nothing to play for.
(2) Evans is a top 5ish WR, and has consistently put up 1000 yd season. I think his value may go down a little if they go away from Winston and bring back a QB who is more conservative, but I have Evans equal to or ahead of Kamara due to his position and skills
(3) Mixon has been looking better recently. I think the QB situation is a disaster here, and they will be improving it in off season.
(4) While I think Guice still has it, there is no denying the fact that he has had 3 knee/leg injuries in 2 years.

Overall i have it as:

Evans >= Kamara
Mixon >> Guice

Not sure who voted for the Kamara side, but that offer wouldn't be close for me at all. Kamara will still be worth more than Mixon, but the gap shouldn't be huge. However, Evans and Guice aren't even close to being in the same tier...and I like Guice.

I'd say, think again. No way that offer gets accepted.

Crazy might be a strong word but you should get something else ontop to move Kamara. That said, this time next year Mixon could very easily be the higher asset.

Yes. Should be able to get a little on top of Mixon.

I think the difference between Guice and Mixon is significantly larger than the gap between Kamara and Evans. If both players are definitive starters then I'd take the Evans side without a doubt.
