Early 2020 rankings- top 12 WRs

Top 12 is tough. I'd have Godwin in your tier 2 at least. I'd also want Golladay pretty darn close to my top 12.

Have to assume he just forgot about Godwin if he's not even in the honorable mentions.

I'm a longtime Beckham owner and I'd take every guy on this list over him sadly. The injuries the headaches and situation. I'm done

With the NFL season coming to an end, how would you rank the top 12 WRs? How would you rate your confidence they'll be in your top 12 after FA and the draft?

Tier 1- guys I have no doubt will be top 12 ranked next year

DeAndre Hopkins
Tyreek Hill
Mike Evans

Tier 2- each of these barely missed getting into tier 1
Julio- age issue overcome by certainty he'll produce; others in this tier don't have that certainty
Beckham
D Adams
A Cooper

Tier 3
Kupp
DJ Moore
Juju
Keenan Allen

Also-rans- ARob, Thielen, Golladay, AJ Brown, Sutton, Ridley, Hilton, Kirk, Lockett, AJ Green

I focused this list on top 12, but I could see tier 3 including all the also rans, or nearly all. I could see all those tier 2 WRs falling behind the young guns in that expanded tier 3 group.

My initial thoughts are that you have Julio and Kupp at least a tier too high. Julio didn't go that high in either startup I did last year and he's another year older with more nagging injuries seemingly dragging down his production. Kupp hasn't even been on the field enough lately to warrant more than an honorable mention. He's slowed way down and wont be anywhere near my top 12.

I'd add Diggs, Godwin, and Chark to this discussion.

Thielen, Hilton, and Green aren't in this discussion for me. I think I'd rather DK Metcalf than all of these old veterans too.

If I didnt own him and could get him for a 1st, he would be on my team, and itd take a fair bit more than 1st to get him from me now

I recently turned down Courtland Sutton for OBJ the other day, not really sure why I did at this point but I keep hoping he turns it around and hopefully is healthy next year, crazy right?

I definitely missed on getting Godwin, Diggs and Chark at least on the also ran list.

That said, I wasn't trying to do rankings I'd do, but forecasting what a consensus top 12 would look like. Some people heavily/over value production, others heavily/over weigh youth. I think the 2nd tier of Julio/Beckham/Adams/Cooper is a landmine. Like a moth to the flame, people will draft those guys for their history of production and name recognition, when they miss out on the top 4. I see that ending badly.

He's had three consecutive bad seasons by his standards. I can see how people are down on him. I'm certainly not actively targeting him unless he's at a discount.

Yeah if I can get Odell for any sort of first I’m doing it. I only own him in 1 of my leagues and will be actively targeting him this offseason. Baker has sucked plain and simple, if he’s traded target quality should only increase, and if he’s not traded baker should take a step forward next year IMO. So either way i’m Buying him if I can get him valued cheaper.
