Mahomes is more likely to be selling tickets in 15 years, but Lamar is winning Super Bowls starting this year. This is a better offense than the ‘07 Patriots.

Mahomes is better throwing the ball but he certainly isn’t better at moving his offense down the field. He’s a limited player compared to Jackson. That may change in the future, but as of today that’s just the way it is. It’s beyond obvious.

Lamar will never be the passer Mahomes is.

Just like Mahomes will never be the runner Lamar is.

And neither of them need to be. Both are fantastic young talents. My only concern with Lamar is that hes basically PHI Mike Vick with the body of his Falcon days. Unstoppable on the field until all that running catches up to him.

I own both, and I've been a believer and supporter of Lamar since before he was drafted. Mahomes is the better passer and arm talent than Lamar, and that's what has won throughout the history of the NFL. To say Lamar has a "far higher ceiling" than Mahomes is ludicrous seeing as Mahomes had arguably the greatest QB season ever in the first season of his career, and was on pace to be even better this year until he started to get nicked up. Lamar is a great player and will be for years, but he'll have his up and down years like anyone else.

So you're on both their jockstraps? I think you were talking about real NFL, and he's talking about Fantasy, in that back and forth, anyway. The amount of recency bias in this thread is staggering. I don't think there is an NFL franchise that would want Lamar over Mahomes. Fantasy Football, there can be more of an argument, but Mahomes would be the clear choice by NFL GM's.
