In a draft with depth and no obvious top player what would you value the first overall pick? Guy who owns the 1.03 in my league has already shown interest in possibly moving up a couple spots. What would y’all need on top of and/or in general player or pick wise to give up the top pick?
It's really too early to say. Hold your pick until after the NFL draft. Know landing spots. If Swift or Taylor end up in KC, you will be asking for an arm or a leg to move back, just like when Zeke landed in Dallas.
Definitely waiting until after the draft unless someone offers me something stupid. If Taylor or swift end up in kc or Houston or another good spot I’ll prolly hold the pick unless I get a huge amount in return

Cool story, but what does this have to do with the OP's situation? Segue, man!

I don't think picks are worth moving until after the NFL draft. That's when the value of picks goes through the roof. Right now there's no specific situation to get excited about. Come April, when all these rookies have NFL teams, the hype will start. That's when you shop around picks, not before

That's a no brainers. Worst case you could flip the 1.1 for like 1.4 and 1.6 or something. Roddy isn't worth the 1.06
QB - DWatson(HOU)Minshew(JAX)Darnold(NYJ)
RB -NChubb(CLE)DHenry(TEN)JTaylor(IND)Gurley(ATL)
WR -DHopkins(ARI)ACooper(DAL)CGodwin(TB)OBJ(CLE)

Rosters must always be 3qbs 4wrs 4rbs 2tes 2kickers 2dst and protected players don't take up a roster spot, but are only for rookie/2nd-year players that were drafted

if you wanted me to move out of 1.01 right now i'd need an overpay

maybe 1.04, 1.07, mixon and a second round value (maybe penny) for 1.01

maybe its too rich, maybe its not enough?

Robby Anderson. Lol. OK lets get a bit more realistic.

I'm going to be trying to buy the 1.01. In truth, I'd settle for any of the first three picks. I currently have 1.05, 1.08, and 1.09/1.10 depending. But its the 1.01 owner who is willing to chat at the moment, so we're discussing the outline. We've agreed on a 1st / Player / 2nd sort of thing, depending who it is. I'm thinking my offer will be:

1.08 2020
Austin Ekeler
2020 2nd (late)

for the 1.01. And I'm guessing he'll tell me to up to the 1.05.
Thoughts? He needs more than 1 player's worth of help.

that wouldn't be enough for me personal, I do think 1.05 would need to be involved.

unless your sending 1.08, and 1.09 something like that.

That's a huge overpay for the 1.01 when there is no clear cut Barkley/Zeke in this draft class. I think the 1.04 + Mixon for the 1.01 is very fair. You're going to get (maybe) an upgrade going from Mixon to whoever you pick at 1.01, then the 1.04 is basically free.

Mixon is getting his entire O-line back healthy next season and a rookie QB which will be a huge upgrade over the crap he's had this year. Plus mixon had a top 10 RB year last year with just as bad of an O-line. He's a great buy low candidate for the 2020 season.

yeah but if taylor or swift are a first rounder to the chiefs then someone could emerge as a barkley or zeke,

its so early in the process so if I'm moving 1.01 today, I want an overpay

5 months from now the conversation will be a lot different.

I don't think you will be able to flip 1.01 for 1.04 + 1.06 this year (except maybe if one of the top RBs lands in KC).

Wow Inwas just checking out swifts numbers compared to guys like barkley Zeke gurley etc. They dont even come close to measuring up. What's all the hype about?

Taylor's numbers are FAR better

He's a very good receiver and could do passably well as a WR, on top of being a good RB. His value is nore about how his skillset translates to the NFL level than just pure college production, he should be a much better pro than college player. Georgia doesn't feature the RB in the passing game anything close to what NFL offenses do, and they always have a stable of RBs to share some of the ground game workload so he doesn't rack up gaudy stats.
