Agreed. Probably not going to worry about 1.05 vs. 1.06 later. Might as well get pick #13 for that.

It's possible that 1.05->1.06 ends up being a tier drop but even if that ends up being the case 2.01 is still more than enough compensation to move down, in my opinion. And it might not even be a tier drop in which case you get 2.01 almost for free...easy accept in my opinion. There's going to be some great value at 2.01 this season.

This seems like the type of trade that would be made DURING the draft or while on the clock @ 1.05, once landing spots are known

I'm not sure who would pay that TODAY just to move up 1 spot, knowing that there could potentially be two great options at 5 & 6
As hoos89 mentioned, it's also possible that there's a tier drop at 5 & 6

But taking the extra pick this far in advance is a no brainer IMO

Yeah this feels like a "one of my top guys fell to 1.05" trade, not a December trade.
