But also, Swift is trash, and should definitely only be the 5th best RB taken at best. Terrible RB. Definitely overrated, and not doing ANYTHING against a proper NFL-calibre defense in LSU. BUST ALERT!

Its gotta be more injury than gameflow i would think since Georgia has 14 carries and he only has 1 of them. Which is a bummer, I was looking forward to seeing him against the LSU defence

Nah, Baylor's D is pretty good, especially by Big-12 standards. Lamb is just legit, I didn't see the whole game but his first touch he took a 10 yard out route like 60 yards fighting off tacklers the entire way.

Swift and Lamb are the most overrated players in 10+ yrs, I pray they don't fall to my 4th and 7th pick. I would just so upset by that development.

Taylor, I haven't seen as much of, but from what I have seen he appears to be more of a speed/power guy. I have more concern about how he projects. Is he going to make guys miss consistently? If not, he's gonna have to be a power guy. If he's gonna be a power guy, does he have homerun speed? I don't know, but if he's a power guy without homerun speed then I'm concerned. If he blows away the combine though, then he's a no brainer, because great athletic testing with that production seems like a can't miss.

I really agree w/the last point. With tape focused people, it may just be a cherry on top, but for me, the combine alongside the marketshare production #'s, breakout age, that sorta thing are going to be the most decisive pieces for me. So in that sense, Taylor can still snag 1.01, and I would argue that if Taylor is the 1.02, is it really that big of drop in a RB class like this? Also worth noting that after disappointing in some big games last year, a guy like Dobbins has also had a monster counting stats year and unlike Taylor, hasn't had any dips in big games (I'll grant, Taylor's only really had the one bad game against a quality side, but Dobbins has showed up huge in all 3 big Ohio State games and Taylor was largely his least effective self against Minnesota, and Ohio State (was huge against Michigan though)).

Only 5 minutes into the first quarter today, but impressive opening statements from both backs...

Taylor's 40 yard TD was home-run speed all the way. He looks every part the "best back in the class" so far, especially given the last thing we'll remember of Swift was a (injury hampered blowout loss) dud.

I guess that Etienne TD was just more shitty ACC tackling rather than a stud RB with speed who can also run through arm tackles ... because there’s never arm tackles in the NFL.

I think at this stage Taylor is the only back with a chance of being drafted in the first round of the NFL draft.

Early predictions:

Taylor - late first to early second
Swift - early to mid second
Etienne - early to mid second
Dobbins - mid second to early third
Edwards-Helaire - third (size is the issue, he’s actually good)
Akers - third to early fourth
Hill - late third to fourth
Moss - fourth

Hubbard looks like a day 3 prospect to me and no one else is worth mentioning.

There obviously is, but Taylor>Etienne IMO. I'd take Swift over Etienne as well.
