Who to Stash?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Who to Stash?

Postby zkreflex » Tue Dec 03, 2019 8:30 pm

Team in sig...not making the playoffs this year and I'll have 2 first round picks in next year's draft

Do I make room for any of these guys?

James Washington, McCoy, Corey Davis, Darwin Thompson

I actually drafted Darwin this year but he never got the opportunity, I'm leaning towards picking him up, i dont want to miss out on KCs RB if they decide to move in his direction.
10-team, 21 man roster, 0.5 PPR (1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, FLEX, D/ST, K)

QB: Wentz, Cousins, Newton (IR)
RB: Fournette, Guice, Sanders, Michel, Freeman,
WR: OBJ, JuJu, Mike Williams, DJ Moore, McLaurin, Courtland Sutton, N'Keal Harry, AJ Brown
TE: Kittle, Hunter Henry, Goedert, OJ Howard
D/ST: Steelers, Ravens
K: Gonzalez

I would look to move a TE and stash Washington.

In such a shallow roster format, I'd prioritize Darwin Thompson, who has league-winning upside, over yet another WR. I'd drop Freeman (if Royce) or O.J. Howard, though I'd try to sell either for a 2nd or even a 3rd if possible.

I would try to sell a TE for a pick. As much as I like his talent, the fact you have Kittle makes me want to sell Hunter Henry and add Corey Davis or Washington (lean Davis but Washington is an equally good choice IMO) since you are out of it this year.

As others have said, I'd try to move one or two of your TE's in a trade. I'd also drop the Ravens D. I'd pick up Davis and Washington and Darwin if you can, in that order.

Drop Cam and a D and pick up Washington and Davis. And if you can move a TE like suggested, pick up Darwin.

Do you need to hold a kicker throughout the offseason? If "no", I'd drop him in a hurry and pick up literally anyone on that list. Good advice above ^ as well to also consider dropping DSTs...unless your league hoards these and there are typically few left come draft time.
"Marathon Square" - 16 team full PPR league with 24 player roster. Keep 16 per year indefinitely, draft 8. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Team DST
QB: Jordan Love, Deshaun Watson
RB: Travis Etienne, Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Kendre Miller, Jaleel McLaughlin, Sean Tucker, Deuce Vaughn
WR: A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, Michael Wilson, Kendrick Bourne, Tutu Atwell, Allen Lazard, Isaiah Hodgins, Justin Shorter
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cole Kmet, Kylen Granson
K: Didn't make the playoffs in 2023  , and don't usually hold one in the offseason
Team DST: Cowboys, Lions

Picks:
2024: All my picks except 3rd rounder

Disclaimer: My one and only Championship in this league was way back in 2011. Therefore, take my replies with the appropriate grain of salt.

Since you’re out of the playoffs ship one of your backend TEs for a 2020 2nd. Then drop your kicker and a DST. I’d then pickup Washington, Davis and Darwin
