Well, I'm out. How can I make an enticing offer for lamar?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I sold him for what turned out to be 1.04, in what was deemed borderline league killing at the time.

Now I kinda want him back.

What could I offer? Trading doesnt open up until after week 16, but still thinking about it...

Mayfield + a pick or Mayfield + Robinson + a pick should get it done. You will have to overpay I'm sure.

It should take a lot to get him... I guess you could start with Baker + but I personally wouldn’t move LJ for that... and people already saying that’s not enough.

looking at his roster hes shallow at young Wrs and RBs

You’re stacked at WR

How about sell high on Guice and Robinson (or Landry) as a package?
Or
“ENTICING”
I just saw Mike Evans go straight up for Lamar so depending how bad you want him maybe give up a stud like Kupp? if I want him that much.. sounds crazy but realistically that’s the only way I see to move him.
Also I’d try keeping your 1.4

You traded him away for the 1.04, which is solid value. I would cut ties from him going forwards and worry about other holes. Buying him back now would mean paying max value and not advisable.

x2 Jackson would require a big overpay right now, which isn't worth it in 1QB unless you're contending.

If you're dead set on it thought, maybe try offering Kupp + Kerryon for Jackson + 2nd?

Keep the 1.4 pick and simply build your team. Your going to have to pay max value and over pay. Keep your team intact and add a top flight player at 1.4 or sell it off when rookie fever hits.

there is no reason for you to trade for him. I think you did just fine. its a 1qb league. I get that you feel lamar is going to rip it up for the next few years..... he may get hurt before he plays a game for you. your out of it this year. I would not look to add him unless its on the cheap....1.4 is fair imo, but I prefer the pick pretty easily in your format.

What was Mahomes value preseason vs now? Regression was expected, but it certainly wasn’t applied to value until later. I’d think LJax experiences the same, wildly valuable between now and start of next season, then inability to maintain historic output sets in and price normalizes a tad

Came back here to encourage you to get Lamar.. I don’t get why everyone is saying to stay put when you have pieces to move to get the best QB in fantasy... even I a one QB league..

You’re trade partner team sucks and you have what it takes to make a good offer..
it makes no sense for you to sit on all those WRs when you can’t use them..

Yes extreme..and I’m not saying to start with this.. but an offer like Baker+Landry+Robinson doesn’t even hurt you, it would be hard to say no to that...
You’ll still have Hop, Hill and Kupp.. with Deebo, Westbrook as fill ins or flex.
Or as I mentioned before if he’s looking for a RB.. sell high on Guice in a package and use your 1.4 to get a solid RB prospect..

Anyone telling you regression or injury is mad because they don’t have him..

Making a big move especially getting rid of some of your WRs won’t hurt you.
Having Lamar will complete your good team. He’s different.. and getting better.

Have to disagree here, people were only saying Mahomes wouldnt be able to maintain the output because he THREW for 50 Tds. Thats much harder to do than what Lamar has done. Lamar has "only" thrown for 25 tds and rushed for 7, thats definitely sustainable, i also think his rushing will be relatively sustainable. He is only 22, and may get even better at throwing. Mahomes most likely hit his peak last season, amazing QB but that was probably he peak, this may not be Lamars peak. With all of that said OP, dont try to buy Lamar now and overpay. Take everyone elses advice.
