Yes, but why's that a bad thing? Rushing TDs for QBs are fluky, but he's adding rushing yards in general, which helps a fantasy QB's floor and ceiling.ericanadian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 2:14 pm Three rushing TDs over that period have helped and Tannehill has never really been effective at hitting anyone that isn’t primarily an underneath target.

Yeah I don't get the negative connotation to the rushing TDs that Tanny has gotten. So that's bad for Tanny but Lamar is the league MVP because of his rushing?ericanadian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 2:14 pmThree rushing TDs over that period have helped and Tannehill has never really been effective at hitting anyone that isn’t primarily an underneath target.djeternal2 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 2:00 pmAny link to where you are seeing that he's THE QB2 since he took over? He was using Tannehill’s production to suggest that Corey Davis’ poor production with Tannehill is on Davis. Rushing TDs obviously provide no opportunity for a receiver to pick up points.djeternal2 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 2:26 pmYeah I don't get the negative connotation to the rushing TDs that Tanny has gotten. So should Davis get no blame? AJ Brown has made more explosive plays in his rookie year as Davis has is 3. Davis is a solid all around but unspectacular receiver. Add to that a low volume passing offense and he is what he is.ericanadian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 2:46 pmHe was using Tannehill’s production to suggest that Corey Davis’ poor production with Tannehill is on Davis. Tannehill has shown before that he can be a viable fantasy QB aan sustain a WR1, but Corey Davis has never shown he can be a WR1. Yet we continue to make excuses for him.

Parker has started to look serviceable again post Tannehill and the Dolphins are indisputably awful. The two profile very similarly. Davis certainly has had issues and he probably isn’t going to be great, but I don’t he’s getting much a shot in this offense with this QB.jenkins.math wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 3:22 pmSo should Davis get no blame? I like Tannehill in Tennessee. They should just embrace the running and defensive team they are and see what happens with him the next couple years. If he knows what’s good for him he’ll start peppering AJB with some targets. I’m excited to see when that time comes.

The main reason for Corey Davis' poor performance is Corey Davis. The amount of excuses doled out for this guy is ridiculous. He was clearly overdrafted by the Titans. He hasn't had good QB play, but that's not the only reason he hasn't performed. Maybe he can be a solid number 2 somewhere at some point in his career, but being a teams top WR, and producing like one isn't happening.ericanadian wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 2:46 pmHe was using Tannehill’s production to suggest that Corey Davis’ poor production with Tannehill is on Davis. Yep, seems like he's a good no. 2 WR who can be a fantasy WR3, like a Mohamed Sanu type. Maybe Davis just needs a change of scenery, like when Sanu went from CIN to ATL.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 9:20 am The main reason for Corey Davis' poor performance is Corey Davis. Reports say the Titans may franchise him. I think they retain him one way or another.
I don't think they should. I hope they invest in a rookie.

I don't know..
They might end up creeping into the playoffs with him which would change things..

That might change things for them, but not me. If I'm Tennessee, I draft a QB high no matter what.

They can bring back Tannehill either via the franchise tag or a short deal and still take a QB early. There isn't some rule that says it's one or the other.
The smart thing to do would be to bring back Tannehill and take a QB and let him learn and develop anyway.

Good for you for being objective, and not caving to ownership bias.
