Is Sterling Shepard worth an early 2nd?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is Sterling Shepard worth an early 2nd?

Postby lukkynumber13 » Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:21 pm

He would be solid and young depth, not very close to my starting lineup hardly ever. Feels like Shep is a better asset than the 9th RB or the 10th WR, am I wrong?

Pick around the 2.04-2.06.

He is probably a better option overall then the pick. I'm not high on Shepard at all, and would rather gamble on the pick however. Preference though for sure.

I'd rather have the pick. But wouldn't blame anyone for going with Shepard.

Sheppard was dropped in one of my leagues after news released that he could be done for the year. I saw him as too good to pass on and invested a lot of FAAB on him. In that league I'd definitely trade him for an early second, but I'm kind of pick starved their. I see him as a very similar asset as Jamison Crowder who I also own their, but with more risk.

I don't known if he's moderate success this season was due to very little talented competition, I don't know what his actual upside is an an individual talent, I don't know even know if he'll ever overcome his concussion issues or like several before will succumb to them. Too me there's just too much uncertain there to bank on him.

I wouldn't trade him for less than that, but I also wouldn't be willing to buy him for that.

Meh just don't see much upside for Shepard. He's a perennial WR3 or flex who won't kill you in PPR but isn't going to win you weeks either. Add in the worries with the concussion history now and I'd much rather have the 2nd.

I would take the pick... Giants will surround Jones with some talent next year.

Think it's a wash value wise. I agree with the pick myself.
