Re: Sony Michel
I just don't get it I don't watch college really and I rely on reading "expert" analysis but out of college it was supposed to be Chubb that had 0 3rd down ability and Michel was supposed to be the pass catcher. Strange not like Chubb is an elite down field weapon but Michel doesn't even get the chance

Re: Sony Michel value
Well the Patriots certainly made use of him this week in the rain - although I suppose PPC leagues have more benefit than a PPR league. Regardless I seem to recall that Michel was considered better by some over Chubb as a receiver - so it goes to show that sometimes situation can change that.
College
Michel - 64 receptions in 47 NCAA games
Chubb - 31 receptions in 47 NCAA games
NFL
Michel - 16 receptions & 26 targets in 24 games
Chubb - 50 receptions & 70 targets in 27 games

Re: Sony Michel value
Just to chime in, I swapped Garoppolo and Brian Hill for Michel in sig. I get that he's been frustrating but he's also a starting RB in only his 2nd season with a very intelligent coaching staff. It seems hard to believe that they won't get him going at some point soon.

agree with this. granted 3 of those were in one game... but he is so dependent on touchdowns it makes it uncomfortable having him in the lineup if he isnt scoring on the goal line.Ray Finkle wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 10:23 amVery rational post and those are the reasons he’ll remain on my roster. Just sucks having a RB who gets 15+ carries per game, has a respectable 7 tds on the season and it still hurts to put him in my starting lineup.Pac_Eddy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 10:03 am FYI - DLF trade analyzer has Michel worth a hair more than a 2020 mid first. Re: Sony Michel value
I bought him before week 12 because of this schedule. Feels like he is a smart buy for contending, RB-needy teams... doesn't cost an arm and a leg with most owners frustrated, has solid playoff matchups, and you can probably flip him for decent value in the offseason. As long as you think can get equal value back in offseason, you're essentially renting a potential RB1 (based off schedule) for free.WhatWouldDitkaDo wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 1:57 pm The Patriots just got their starting left tackle Isaiah Wynn back healthy. Re: Sony Michel
New England hasn't had a three-down back in a long, long time. They almost always split the workload amongst 2-3 RB's. Sony's problem is that James White is a better receiving back than him and probably better in pass protection too.JOHNNY_COCKTAIL wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 11:58 am I just don't get it I don't watch college really and I rely on reading "expert" analysis but out of college it was supposed to be Chubb that had 0 3rd down ability and Michel was supposed to be the pass catcher. I got an early 2nd for him in a SF league before this news.

Re: Sony Michel Injury
I traded 1.12 for Harris and 3.02 in a SF a few weeks back. I rightfully was shamed for the trade because I definitely did not get proper value, but I lost track of the value because I do like Harris a lot as a talent. I also have zero faith in Michele.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Jun 13, 2020 1:09 pmI got an early 2nd for him in a SF league before this news.
