Mclaurin’s separation still looks elite to me. Not his fault that he has one of the worst QBs in the league throwing to him, although of course if WAS can’t improve their QB situation eventually it will ding his potential. If anything, I’d use this opportunity as a buy opportunity, very possible they draft another QB with their pick which should be top 2-3. I still wouldn’t sell for the deal I was offered last month (late-ish 2021 1st + 3rd), I wholeheartedly believe he has WR1 upside.

I disagree about the possibility they draft a QB in the 1st. He has support within the organization and front office and a ton would have to go wrong. Don't see that happening since he has a good schedule to put some nice film on for next year, starting with this Sunday's 30th ranked pass defense from Detroit.

Even if he performs as poorly as Rosen did, the Redskins would still need to bring in a coach who is hellbent on getting a rookie QB for his "system".

The more likely possibility, imo, is they get a rookie in the 4th or so who could take the job, a la Kirk Cousins.

I think they'll take Chase Young.

But I think they'll also rue not taking Tua in about 2 years.

I disagree. The Redskins have done crazier things. I know Snyder really wanted Haskins, but Tua is a much better prospect. A team without a surefire franchise QB can't afford to pass on a potential one. Haskins is playing for his job IMO. He has to show something that will make them not want to take a QB.

McLaurin had his best performance since early in the season & got a season high # of targets. Hopefully he & Haskins will continue to develop a connection.

the targets were nice. next step is making some of them catch-able. 5/12 and at least 2 of those were 1 handed or full extension grabs.

Haskins is so green but I imagine they run it back and worst case scenario they are in the Fields/Lawrence race

Some potential good news for McLaurin owners:

https://twitter.com/GrahamBarfield/stat ... 8220788736

Terry McLaurin looking like he'll have a massive role this coming season. Washington only has two top-100 picks in the NFL Draft (No. 2 & 66 overall), hasn't added a FA wide receiver, and have the 7th-most targets available.

He’s the next Godwin in terms of breaking out imo. Just acquired him a week ago for AJB. I got a 21 1st and 2.8 tagged in the deal, so I was happy about that.

Said this in our Group Chat already to ArrylT, but McLaurin had no competition last year and only had 93 targets. I have him on a roster, but don't really think Graham Barfield knows anything anyone here doesn't. Same QB, same WR situation. Hoping he gets some more targets, but he's not suddenly going to get peppered like Hopkins. I would be happy with 110-115.

McLaurin is the best WR they have. He was outstanding as a rookie which is isn't easy for a WR. The only concern I have with this player is his QB.

Targets should increase to 115 plus this season as he progresses. He could easily move into top 20 WR range this season. He will need to increase his per game scoring about 1.5 points per game to move into the top 20 so he is closer than many may think.

Tons of upside but the team has a ways to go to improve so incremental improvement is acceptable.

I have McLaurin and was wondering what y'all think he's worth, would a Mid 2020 first be enough to move him, say 1.05-1.07? Just curious.

I think I'd cash out there. 1.05 probably for sure. The Redskins have failed to support a single WR before as well so... I could see it going both ways here, but history and the current state of WAS is awful

Definitely true about Washington! I was just curious to see what others thought about his value, thanks for your insight.
