Hooper/Hockenson Trade

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Hooper/Hockenson Trade

Postby chadwilliam » Tue Nov 19, 2019 7:18 am

In my 2QB/2TE league I was offered the following trade:

I send - Austin Hooper, Big Ben, and a mid-to-late 2020 1st Round Pick

I receive - TJ Hockenson, Drew Brees, Jaylen Samuels, and an early 2020 2nd Round Pick

Is this trade worth making or should I hold tight? My only major concern is moving the 2020 1st Round Pick in this deal. Getting Samuels in this deal helps with owning Conner and there is a chance that Brees might have a year or so left.

Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

That is how I kind of felt about it as well, considering the age of Drew Brees. I appreciate your feedback!

What's the upside here, you are just hoping TJ turns into Hooper and giving up a first for your trouble.
