What about Ronald Jones? Gets the start, played pretty well/gots 20ish touches, and definitely looked good in the game (although the stats might not look super impressive).

It's all down to the coaches and coaching. In fact, on some of the better runs, it's actually a coach in there dressed up as Ronald Jones.

As a Godwin owner, I miss the brief period when Evans sucked and didn’t even deserve to be rostered.

Hold on - are you seriously saying a 1 month period of dominance by one player, whilst his future-HOF teammate who's only 25/26 years old isn't getting quite as many fantasy points, is NOT enough of a sample size to move Evans down into a tier below Godwin? I could've sworn we realized that Evans became bad at football back in week 5. Darn it, it's hard to keep up with dynasty rankings, am I right??

And now on pace for 100/1684/14 DESPITE having a 0 yard game.

Someone literally said Evans is best as a WR2 in fantasy.

Down exactly 34 points and my opponent has no one left, while I have Barkley, Zeke and Golden Tate. I should be able to close that gap, but certainly not a guarantee.

I agree. There’s no way he can hold up to this usage. It’s really stupid & short-sighted on Carolina part.

He’s on pace for roughly 330 carries. It’s not really even close to DeMarco Murray territory and historically, the issues usually came at around 380 carries. Certainly, less carries would be preferred, but I don’t think it’s all that concerning at this point.

That's carries, though. Not touches. I think it's going to be an issue late in the year, or next year if he gets 430 touches or whatever.

I’ve seen zero evidence that receptions are much of a factor. If you have something, I would love to see it. The carries picture is pretty simple. You can pretty much look up anyone with over 380 carries in a season (unless they’re Eric Dickerson, for some reason.) and watch them fall off a cliff or get injured the following year. I can’t find a touch total that seems to have the same drop off. Tomlinson put up 451 touches in his second year and improved from an efficiency standpoint with no significant injury. There really hasn’t been an RB that layers on receptions like this before though, so I guess I can kind of understand the concern. I’m just not sure I’m on board.

Jones is playing fairly well, but on that 3rd down, he needs to check that ball down to Barkley in the flat and let him try and make a play. Had plenty of time and just threw it away, with Barkley wide open right in front of him the entire time.

I saw some extra weight moving while he ran around. Doubt he has long speed, or the stamina to be anything more than a role player.
