Agreed. In 7 games as a 21 year old rookie, he had 2 games of 11 receptions, one of them a playoff game. Could be a good slot guy for a long time. Tied to a good QB, I think he's worth a late first vs this class.

Re: Keke Coutee
I know there are owners who are quite high on him, and I think they'd agree he would be worth a late 1st - I am still undecided about Coutee myself but he is in a good situation that is for sure.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

Re: Keke Coutee
I drafted him after this season for the equivalent of 1.09. I just feel with the new age NFL, slot guys that can get open and be productive with designed plays in or around the LOS are growing in value.

Re: Keke Coutee
I just gave DJ Chark, Mark Walton, and the 3.03 for Coutee. The deal seemed fair and I needed roster space anyway.

Steal IMO. I like Coutee over a late first at this point.

An 80% catch-rate on targets illustrates why I think Coutee is a legit threat for 70-80 receptions next year if he plays 16 games, provided Houston improves their O-line enough this offseason to make it safer for Watson to throw more.

Agreed, although one could argue even if they don't improve the OL, it could happen. Coutee works around the LOS a lot, so if Watson doesn't have time, a shorter developing route is a good option for him.ninotoreS wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 11:07 pm https://twitter.com/PFF_Texans/status/1 ... 5823525888

Hmm. Now I'm wondering if Coutee actually benefits more, comparatively, from a bad O-line.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 11:32 pm Coutee works around the LOS a lot, so if Watson doesn't have time, a shorter developing route is a good option for him.
As a Watson owner, I have mixed feelings about that.

Well I was just offered the 4.07 for him. That's a hard pass.

Keke Coutee - what did thou ever do to thee?
Anyone out there who closely follows the Texans that can explain how this guy went from instant offense (when healthy) to healthy and in the doghouse? He cost me a win last week and is currently wasting space on my bench if he's locked behind the likes of Deandre Carter and other scout team scrubs/warm bodies

Was happy to have him his rookie year. He showed a lot of promise. I'm not sure what happened but I just sold him for drew brees. Stills holds more value for this year it would seem
Re: Keke Coutee - what did thou ever do to thee?
Coutee reminds me of a lot of young guys that flash then aren't heard from much again. Would be interesting to hear their coach's opinions on why.
Keelan Cole, Chris Givens, Rashard Higgins, Bryce Butler, Tajae Sharpe.

At the end of the week 7 game..30 or so seconds left. Texans driving to try to win the game against the colts,.
Deshaun throws a dagger across the middle and hit coutee in the hands. Tough catch, but coutee bobbled it and it went right into the hands of the colts defender.
I just remember thinking, "Damn Coutee."
The colts kneel and win the game.
It can't be a coincidence that he is mysteriously and totally removed from the game plan in the two weeks following that incident
