What would you want in a trade for Marlon Mack?

Got a guy inquiring, could go either way in terms of possibly selling him off or keeping him to try to push this year. It's a contract league and I'd only have Mack this year and next year so he's not as integral to my squad long term.

(I posted a way lengthier version of this topic and got no answers, probably due to info overload, so keeping it simple this time. Let me know if there are any other details needed)

Sorry not a contract league guy so not well versed here but Id be willing to deal him to a contender for the right price, maybe a late 1st. Your roster doesnt look like a top competitor in 10-teamer IMO, so I would start building for the 2021 SF season by compiling QBs - although the contact issue makes it less appealing to sock QB’s away a year early. I would do everything possible to retain Mahomes prior to 2021, that should be your #1 goal.

Can't speak about a contract league but I would think you would need a number one pick for Mack

1st rounder at the least for Mack. Maybe a young asset as well.

No worries, I’m gonna tag and extend Mahomes this offseason and have him for years. Everyone else in my sig is accurate with durations barring future extensions (only one per year).

You’re correct that I’m not really a top competitor. I think I could probably make the playoffs, but I’d be a big underdog to two guys in particular who are freakin’ STACKED. Tough to sell when I think I could make the playoffs, but also wanna be realistic like you said that I proooobably don’t have quite enough firepower to win it all.

Got a guy offering a mid-late 1. I’ll see if I can get him to add anything. The contract aspect makes it interesting because Mack only has this year and next year, whereas a pick would get four years, so that’s something.

Normally a big factor in the league is who I could get in free agency, like if I could go buy a stud to complement Mack and hang on, but this upcoming FA class looks pretty crappy so not really a factor.

I'd want more than a late 1st. If you can get him to add a player with upside, then I'd consider it.

A few thoughts: In pick value I would look to get a 1st and 2nd. I might look to trade Mack and maybe Cooks for a young QB, maybe a Darnold or Baker while their values are slightly down to get ready for superflex in 2021. I would look to build around Mahomes, Cook, Sanders, Moore and Kittle and offer up most of the rest of your team for picks in 2020 and 2021.

Yeah I'd sell Mack for Hardman + 1st in a rebuild.
