Zach Ertz Value Thread - Now in Arizona
Re: Time to panic on Ertz?
Ertz is still the leading receiver for Wentz, but I'm excited for Goedert getting more opportunities, he looked really good against Dallas

Re: Time to panic on Ertz?
since when is 35-400 in 7 games bad for a TE in any way? He is back to what he was before 2018 which is 75-800 and a very solid TE1. Touchdowns are fluky.

Re: Time to panic on Ertz?
me thinks Ertz's production will return when Wentz settles in and resumes decent QB1 play consistently. Lacking DJ & better WR play has really hurt him. Too easy for the defense to lock in on Ertz with diminished options elsewhere. Maybe Wentz overcomes it soon or maybe not...

Ertz value in TE premium
Just finished year 1 in a SF/TE premium/devy league. Overall I drafted very young. Have had someone asking about Ertz. About where would you put his value in terms of rookie picks, Devy picks, or similarly valued WR in TE premium?
Re: Ertz value in TE premium
Sorry - meant to post this in advice forum. Forgot I had moved to this forum looking for any related threads.
Ertz possibly on his way out with Wentz?
I just saw some articles suggesting such is likely to happen. I think Ertz retains some nice value sticking with Wentz. Which teams seems to make the most sense to highly covet them both in a trade? How do people feel about Goedert with Hurts?
Re: Ertz possibly on his way out with Wentz?
I expect the Eagles to be cutting or trading anyone they can to alleviate some of their cap problems. Ertz is a good cut/trade candidate.
I'm holding onto him in hopes he ends up somewhere solid. Indy, GB, Sea, Jax are a few I like off the top of my head.

Re: Ertz possibly on his way out with Wentz?
I thought Ertz being done in Philly was a foregone conclusion from the start of the season. He was unhappy, they didn't extend him and now the organization seems to be falling apart. I doubt he's there next year but I dont think it's a given he goes where Wentz goes

Re: Ertz possibly on his way out with Wentz?
Hes finished in Philly. Hes been unhappy and insisting on more money all 2020, which Philly cant/wont pay. Especially with Goedert behind him, and yes, Richard Rodgers even stepping up making plays. Hea not going to be an Eagle in 2021
Re: Ertz possibly on his way out with Wentz?
I have a question/theory...
Could a player ever get pissed off enough after your team drafts a QB in the second round that such player would kill his one draft stock by playing absolutely horrible. Hurting his team, coaches and franchise just to get trading to a contending team that could afford it since he already got paid?
Wentz was a MVP candidate 3 years ago.
This year he was one of the worst.
Frank reich left yes.
It can’t be just because of that.

Re: Ertz possibly on his way out with Wentz?
Ertz put of Philly was a foregone conclusion. The player wants, wants out, more money, the Eagles don't want to pay him and have Goedert ready to fill his place.
Ertz was an all time great Eagle but his time is up.
