Any advice at all would be great

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Any advice at all would be great

Postby Hwknation24 » Mon Oct 21, 2019 8:58 am

I will be 2-5 after tonight. Haven't really had a good season in this league for awhile. Would like to get some advice as to what I should do with the trade deadline coming up in a few weeks. Where do you guys think I need to upgrade? Stay pat? Try and acquire draft picks?

QB: Aaron Rodgers
RB: Henry, Bell, Kamara, Singletary, Coleman, Cohen, Harris, Henderson
WR: Hilton, JuJu, Williams, Kirk, Gordon, Jeffrey, Harry
TE: Hunter Henry, Fant, Herndon

.5 PPR, 10 teams

I just recently accepted a trade that gave Amari Cooper for JuJu and Hunter Henry. I feel like that was a good trade for the future.

I was offered OBJ for Bell and Kirk today. Haven't accepted or declined yet.

I'd move Bell and Kirk for OBJ in a heartbeat. I'd hold for now with the rest. You have some good young pieces.

Take OBJ. I'd then look to move Henry and Hilton.

I’d consider trying to move Rodgers after his outlier week. I just don’t see him as an elite weekly option anymore. If you could get something like Baker+ for him, that’d be pretty nice for 2020 and beyond, especially if you make the deal for OBJ. I’d see if you can swap Mike Williams for Kirk in that deal though.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

🦬PRIME🦬
QB: Hurts, Howell
RB: Mixon, Jones, Sanders, Dobbins, Akers, Roschon, Dowdle, Kelley
WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert
TE: Hockenson, Chig, Trautman
Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits
$450 cap, 60 contract years

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5
TE: Thomas $1/0, Hill $1/0, Parham $1/0

Agreed that (1) I'd take OBJ in a second for that package, (2) try swapping MWill for Kirk, (3) try moving D Henry and TY for 2020 picks and/or young upside pieces, and (4) then sit tight until next year, really like your squad.

So the owner backed out in trading me OBJ unfortunately. I have been offered the following.

Austin Ekeler
DJ Chark
Baker Mayfield
2020 1st Round
2020 2nd Round

for Bell, Rodgers, Hunter Henry

Actually not bad for a rebuild but I assume the 1st is projected late (since other owner is clearly asking for win now pieces)? Here is how I would rate it:
Bell =< late 1st
ARod > Mayfield + late 2nd
Henry = Chark + Ekeler
I would probably pass as I also think you can get more for ARod and Bell, but again I would be looking to move D Henry and TY to a contender if at all possible - and get back picks.

I was able to trade Tevin Coleman and Alshon Jeffrey for DJ Moore. Feel like I did really well. Now will focus on moving Hilton.
