Accept Trade of Picks for Cooks?

Hi all, any advice on this trade would be appreciated. First-time dynasty player here. I feel I'm strong at WR, but always looking to improve my team. The team offering the trade is in 9th place and will likely finish bottom in the 3-4.

Brandin Cooks
2020 4th Round
2020 5th Round

Id be looking for RB help rather than Cooks. I think its a fine deal for Cooks but I dont think you need him.

The price is fair if you like Cooks over the prospects likely available with the 1st.

Keep the picks. Cooks is a good player but he won't be viewed as valuable as the picks this offseason imo. Cooks appears to be the 3rd wheel in that passing game and it is a bit dysfuntional this year. Plus you don't really need the WR help, he will more than likely just sit on your bench and be a frustrating start/sit dilemma every week.

If you think the 1st will be late, I'd make that trade. You can always flip him or another WR for RB help after. If the pick is early or even mid, then I'd probably pass.

I've also been offered cooks for my 2020 1st. I've declined it twice, as it's likely the 1.01. Back end 1st or a 2021 1st i' d take cooks. Hos value may be down a bit currently but he's shown to be a valuable and consistent asset.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. He ended up rescinding the trade last night before anything happened. I think I would have tried to get Cooks a little cheaper and try to have a flip for an RB lined up.

This is terrible. Do not move these picks for Cooks. This does not help your team at all, you have better WR's. You need QB help. Use them to upgrade at QB or draft a QB. You are never going to be competitive with how weak you are at QB.

You also need to upgrade at RB, but QB is a more pressing need.
