POLL: Major Rebuild Trade

Postby blemly » Fri Oct 18, 2019 10:19 am

Team 3 in sig. Looking to get younger and buy both low and high on some young talent. Potential trading partner is in last place at 0-6 and has some aging WRs on his roster aside from Moore. Thoughts? I have no firsts for 2020 but have started trying to accumulate young talent for the future.

Give: OBJ + D. Henry
Get: DJ Moore + Jacobs + 2020 1st (T6 guaranteed)
Team 1: 14-team PPR SF TE Prem:
QB: Jackson, Burrow
RB: Sanders, Guice, Dobbins, Ogunbowale
WR: DJM, Chark, Kupp, J. Jefferson, Funchess, Harmon, ESB
TE: Ebron, Warring

Team 2: 14-team PPR SF TE Prem:
QB: Wilson, Rivers, Foles
RB: Mixon, Swift, Guice, Cohen, Hines, Gibson, Bowden
WR: DJM, Diggs, Landry, Renfrow
TE: Henry, Gesicki

Team 3 (Rebuild): 12-team PPR SF:
QB: Wentz, Cousins, Rosen, Grier
RB: Sanders, Akers, Guice, Pollard, Edmonds
WR: Golladay, Landry, Kirk, Campbell, Ross, Pettis, Davis
TE: Herndon, Gesicki
2021: 1,1,1,1,1,2

Team 4: 12-team PPR SF:
QB: Watson, Garopollo
RB: Mixon, Kamara, Jacobs, Dobbins, Hill
WR: Hill, Lockett, Chark, Landry, McLaurin, Hardman, Perriman, Mims, Shenault
TE: Gesicki, OJH, Rudolph

Team 5 (Rebuild): 12-team PPR SF TE Prem
QB: Stafford, Watson
RB: Taylor, Swift, Akers
WR: Lamb, D. Johnson, Pittman, Mims, Shenault, Campbell, Shepard
TE: Knox, Jarwin, Trautman
2021: 1,1,1,2

Wow, very surprised by results so far, easily Moore side for me even tho OBJ is best piece, I am not a D Henry truther whatsoever.

Early 1st + DJM <= OBJ
Jacobs >>> D Henry

Edit: DJM is also very undervalued IMO, what he’s showing early in career with very mediocre QB play is something very few WR’s his age have replicated.

Moore side for me too. I like Jacobs a lot more than Henry.

I think most would say OBJ is worth more than a first and DJ Moore.

It's pretty close for me. If was a slightly better RB than Henry, I'd go OBJ side. Right now, the value's on the Jacobs side.

It’s pretty close but I still lean OBJ

I’d much prefer that you keep OBJ and sell Henry for a First somewhere
TEAM A - 12 teams (19 R/U, 18 Champ, 17 R/U)
BREES, Tua, Jimmy G
COOK/JACOBS/BELL, Dobbins, Swift, Gurley, Dillon, D Washington, Gio, Gallman
NUK/HILL/EVANS/GOLLADAY/K ALLEN, Jeudy, Hilton, Ruggs, Edelman, Wims
KITTLE, Waller, Gesicki, Akins
-
Not listing my IDP, but they matter as much as offense in this league. The Bosa Bros, D-Buck, and Cam Jordan are my main studs.
///
///
TEAM B - 32 teams, double copy - TEs get slight bump in scoring
DARNOLD, Herbert, J Love, Cam, Brissett, Tyrod
SAQUON/MIXON/CHUBB, Gordon, D Freeman, Gallman, L Miller
NUK/EVANS/OBJ/K ALLEN/THIELEN, Lamb, Landry, J Reed
KITTLE/ENGRAM, Ian Thomas, Akins, D Walker
-
Danielle Hunter, Aaron Donald, and Chris Jones are the cornerstones of my IDP squad. LBs and DBs are rag tag for now.

I have Keenan Allen too. Might start with KA + Henry for DJ + Jacobs + 1st and go from there.

Man, I really wouldn’t want to sell KA right now either.

I had to go back and look at your roster. I'm not sure why you'd want to go into a "major rebuild"? Yes, you've been unlucky and started off 0-6, but that's a pretty good roster/team for a SF. I'd make a few moves to retool and get better for next year, but I don't see any reason to blow it all up.

I guess you're right. It has certainly been a down year, but my prospective trade partner is 0-6, not me. I'm still just marginally better at 2-4, though.

I voted OBJ but just because I think you can get one more piece in the trade... feels like light. I’d mAke the deal if I could get another 2nd or equal value player.
