3rd round pick who was an all-American in his one year at Texas A&M with 48 Rec/832 yards/10 TDs his senior year
Packers Receiving Corps looks more like a Corpse right now while Jimmy Graham clearly doesn't have it still and could be on the way out in the offseason
Worth sticking into an IR spot if available? Where would you slot him compared to similar TE stash targets like Irv Smith, Josh Oliver, Goedert, Kahale Warring, Ian Thomas, Gesicki, Hurst, Dawson Knox, etc?

Re: Jace Sternberger-Coming Off IR. Anything to See Here?
I'd stash him on an IR spot, certainly. He'd be behind Irv Smith, Goedert, Ian Thomas and Hurst for me. Maybe Gesicki as well.

I've been stashing him since the rookie draft. He was a great TE coming into the draft. If he was available in any of my dynasties I would bid on him

liked him coming out, he is exactly what GB needs but they seem "invested" in Jimmy G being a thing. I hope they use him just for my own entertainment since GB is on tv so much

Rookie TE with talent.
They take time. Certainly wouldn’t cut him but a pretty good target for the future in Dynasty

Cutting Graham would've saved the Packers pretty much zero cap space so he gets to play out that second year, but he'll be gone after the season.Krypto_King wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 10:35 pm liked him coming out, he is exactly what GB needs but they seem "invested" in Jimmy G being a thing. eh, they are trying to win. it has zero to do with cap space to me I just think they would be a better offense with other TEs on the field. Graham can't/won't block and has zero athleticism. He is Jason Witten at this point and a net negative

Re: Jace Sternberger-Coming Off IR. Anything to See Here?
Not true. If they had cut him before June 1st, then they would have had $5.3 million in cap relief in 2019, and Graham would have been off the books in 2020. If they had cut him after June 1st, then it would have been more complicated. But, essentially, they would have had the same $5.3 million in relief in 2019 (though a little later in the summer) and would have $3.7 in dead money in 2020.Conan Troutman wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 11:46 amCutting Graham would've saved the Packers pretty much zero cap space so he gets to play out that second year, but he'll be gone after the season.Krypto_King wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 10:35 pm liked him coming out, he is exactly what GB needs but they seem "invested" in Jimmy G being a thing. Either way, cutting him would have saved significant cash.
The Packers felt that was worth $5.3 million this year with a dead cap hit of $3.7 next year (his cap hit on the roster would be much higher) rather than releasing him.
Not sure that says much about Sternberger, though. As for Sternberger, he's a talented developmental prospect. Really a dart throw with upside, like so many NFL prospects. He's a fine stash, IMO, but not a must-have.
