Tough sledding for Taylor this week, but he looked really good on a few runs between the tackles where there was barely any room. I think his game translates very well. Great athletic play for a TD reach, exerting his body and stretching out to get the ball over the goal line. He has a nose for the end zone.

Just saw PFF has Burrow going 1.01 in their recent mock. Of course they also have the order goingbjd5211 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 4:43 pmHe's completing just under 80% of his passes and has a 93.3 QBR, and has done it vs top competition in both the SEC and out of conference. 1. Cincinnati
2. Washington
3. Miami
They have Tua going to Miami at 3
Edit: those results were from their Youtube page the other day, they actually have Miami at 2 now and taking Chase Young. They have Tua going 10 to the Chargers. Doubt he actually falls that far, but still don't think it's impossible he falls behind Burrow in the draft.
Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
I have a pick that is undecided at the moment but trending towards a top 3 and currently is #3. My question is if it lands out of the top 3 (which at the moment seems like Taylor, Jeudy, swift) is the talent difference between the top 3 and picks 4,5,6 all that different?
Re: More 2020 Hype: "If You Need A RB or WR, this is the draft for you."
As of right now I think those 3 guys are the clear top 3 in this class, and then there is another tier drop. A lot of time for things to change however, and there should be quality prospects at every pick in the 1st round.

I don't think there will be as much of a tier drop as everyone expects. I think there's a drop in terms of name recognition and there may be a *slight* drop but I think the entire first round will be loaded

Yeah, it was just one game I watched, admittedly, and his down field accuracy was a bit spotty. I'll have to watch more.bjd5211 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 4:43 pmHe's completing just under 80% of his passes and has a 93.3 QBR, and has done it vs top competition in both the SEC and out of conference. Tua at 10, not a chance. There are Qbs whom have fell, but he just has way too much hype for someone not to trade up. I definitely don't think it's out of the question that he does not go 1.01, but would not bet on it at this point. Miami not going QB? Risky, with how the Rosen experiment has gone thus far.

Ya like I said doubt he drops that far, but there was no chance Matt Leinart would fall that far either at the mid point of his last season. My main point is that while he's certainly the favorite, it's not a forgone conclusion that he's the #1 pick or QB off the board.

Yeah, Leinart is usually not the first one most of us think about when it comes to a QB fall. Aaron Rodgers takes that honor. The Final Four might go a long ways this year, potentially 3 of those qbs could be in it. Not counting Lawrence

But Leinart was the "guaranteed" #1 pick for the better part of 2 years in college. Rodgers wasn't really that hyped in college and annointed as the sure thing #1 whenever he decided to enter the draft. Leinart, Luck, Tua and Lawrence are really the only guys I can think of that were considered that way.

You are right on that, he was a golden boy in college. I am surprised more people don't bring up Leinart in that context, hence my ARod comment.I remember some college guys fizzling out, but not guys that were supposed to go #1 overall, or at least for that length of time. Jake Locker was a hot ticket for a year, even Jake Browning was talked of being numero uno and he did not even get drafted, let alone be a first rounder. Wrs and Rbs happens a lot, but they rarely, if ever, get talked about being picked first.

I've got 5 firsts this year... I think imma pony up the $30 for Matt Waldman's RSP
Worth it? I have had horrible luck with my picks so far. Agholor, Penny, Campbell. Hock has flashed big time, but I am not expecting to rely on him immediately. The last two on the list Im still waiting on and they deserve some leash, but I need the Kamaras, hunts, and Michael Thomas of the world from the 2020 cohort.

Ugghhh thats an ugly list, that sucks. The good news is 5 picks SHOULD get you that one guy you need. Just think positively. Its also too early to call Campbell a bust.nathanq42 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 10:53 am I've got 5 firsts this year... I think imma pony up the $30 for Matt Waldman's RSP

Can't really write off penny just yet. He's flashed but never gotten a big enough sample to say if he is a bust or not. solid YPC (not that that necessarily indicates anything on it's own, but I think he has looked solid on those carries, just has to run stronger at the point of contact)Weknownothing86 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 11:48 amUgghhh thats an ugly list, that sucks.
