Longest Rushing Plays Since 2018 - Top 35 List.

Postby Ryantacular » Tue Oct 15, 2019 10:01 am

*EDIT* ALL RUSHES 20+ Yards since 2018 Link: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/ ... r_by=yards

Top Rushing Plays over the past 2 years:

https://imgur.com/a/Br1Ac1j

1.) Chubb has 2 of the top 5 longest rushes and 3 of the top 25.

2.) CMC has 2 of the top 11 and 3 of the top 31.

3.) Barkley has 2 of the top 18 and 3 of the top 33.

4.) Dalvin Cook - 2 in the top 15 (13 and 15) not in top 35 a 3rd time.

5.) Fournette - 2 in the top 16 (8 and 16) not in top 35 a 3rd time.

Big Play ability is a huge factor determining RB success, Chubb should be bought discounted anywhere you can get a discount by Chubb owners fearing Hunts return. Buy Buy Buy.

Chubb is one of my favorite players in the NFL, but I don't think this stat specifically is a reason to buy. I am actually expecting Hunt to take a few carries per game away, but if you can buy Chubb for any sort of discount because of Hunt then I'd consider it worth it.

Even more reason to buy since they wont have Hunt next year. So if an owner will sell discounted, you buy. This is dynasty.

Dalvin Cook has more in his future. He's had so few games where he's playing healthy. The best part of his game may be his receiving though - always on the field, raises his floor in case of a blowout loss.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Counterpoint: Chubb's a risk to have the same knee issues Gurley is dealing with in a couple years and his current value is appropriate given that risk.

This stat is just too much about the team they are on and the team they are facing.

I agree big play ability is important, but there's a lot of luck with breaking plays that long and don't think longest run should be a factor. For example, number of runs that went 20+ is more valuable to me. Your team has to be in poor field position and that has to be the play that you hit it long. A lot of these 40-50 yard runs could be 90+ if the field position allowed it.

I don't think anyone who has Chubb on their FF team is worried about Kareem Hunt.

This for me as well, interesting note as I'm not sure where to find the stat but I think Mixon was one of the highest in this last year. If someone can help me find this that would be great.

Found it, Barkley led with 16 then chubb Zeke Gurley and Mixon all on 11. Also 40+ yard runs Barkley had 7, Chubb had 4 then it's Mixon on 3, interesting that Zeke had only 1 and Gurley 0.
