Bye week troubles

I am currently 5-1 (first loss this weekend with Allen, JuJu and Gallup sucking, bad). I have CMC (lord and saviour) on bye, and then next week Ingram, Zeke and Gallup on bye. So I'm in trouble these next two weeks unless the others come through for me.

Obviously I'm in win mode. My team is the highest scorer so far, and I don't want to lose that momentum. I own the 2020 1st of the guy who is currently rock bottom. But this guy also has a few guys I really like and was considering an offer.. I clearly need depth, my TEs suck, big time, especially with the premium.

I can probably get a better RB in the draft than Mack, and Allen is better than Kirk, so I do feel it's a good deal for the other guy...but this trade could tip it to a win this year for me.

Which side would you go? I would consider moving JuJu, but I'm not worried about him long term at all.

I think you should think again... Thats a massive gift to that team.

So what you'll have 2 rough weeks and then your major bye weeks are over. Even if you go to 5-3 you'll still be in playoff contention with your bye weeks behind you. (presumably other teams will have bye weeks the next couple weeks). You do however need to improve your WRs I think.

I would hold where you are and not overpay in a deal because of bye weeks. Your team is 5-1 and in good shape.

Absolutely not. Just weather the storm. Don't panic. If you're the highest scoring team, you may win one of those two anyway.

I have had the 1.01 before a couple of times, and always seem to miss, somehow. But later picks I always get right (Kupp, McLaurin, for example). So I don't usually like holding the top pick unless I'm rebuilding.

I don't think I'm panicking though. I need depth either way. All it takes is an injury and I will struggle. But yeah, I did feel if was a heavy price to put up, which is why I figured I'd best ask first.

Cheers guys, I'll weather the storm and hope I come out the other side ok. It didn't help that I'm up against the 2nd highest scorer and if he beats me, he will go top!

Another guy has Tyreek and Hunter Henry..I was considering Gallup+1st as an.offer, but I don't think he would go for it as he values his guys too high.

You dont need to "weather the storm," you just need to not offer trades in which you are giving up the 2 best pieces. Allen & a top 1st should be netting you one of the top players in the game.

I would always want the top player in the game, but if I was giving up Allen and that 1st then it would be for 2/3 top guys to give me strength in depth. I guess I need to stop thinking about finishing 1st in the league, and worry more about winning the playoffs.

My team does worry me after this year though - I only have that 1st and then no picks until my own in the 4th. Which is why I was aiming for 3 younger guys that have already proven that have what it takes to be good.
