I was actually going to say this, despite having Gurley in a few leagues. It's his left quad, literally the closest thing to the knee. I also have Henderson in a league, and I don't know about him. Part of the draw of him was the great running lanes and high powered run game the Rams had. Which they don't now. The OL is not even close to as good. I think Henderson's upside is a lot more capped than some originally thought, myself included.

Is it possible that Gurley playing 2 games in 4 days left his knee swollen and unable to play 10 days later? I think it's certainly possible, and I say that as someone who has him in 2 leagues. However you'd think somebody snooping around, looking to make a name for himself would have found something if this were the case, and it would have hit some sort of media outlet by now.

I agree. It's probable. It's just the timing has me concerned. Two games in 4 days, and then his left quad is hurt. I hope it is. As someone who has Gurley on teams, I want it to be the case. I also suspect something would have been leaked, if it was his knee. I hope it's just a 1 game thing. Not getting my tin foil hat on just yet.

Mattison and not close IMO.

Similar talent if not better as a player, same draft pedigree into the NFL, on a more run heavy attack, and actually active on game-days.

I agree. I think we all thought Henderson would have a role with a healthy Gurley which he doesn’t. At least Mattison has the role we expected, has looked good and would become a league winner if/when something happens to Dalvin.

People thought I was crazy when I traded Landry for Mattison and D. Hamilton. Hamilton was a throwaway, but Mattison is the real deal. Originally I just wanted him as a handcuff, but I can see he could easily slot into Dalvin's role if Cook ever gets hurt. Definitely looks like I won that trade.

I'd take Landry over Mattison quite easily. I understand wanting him, as you have Cook, but I disagree that it looks like you won the trade.

Well to me Landry is a pretty low ceiling guy, and not someone you want to start in Dynasty. I can see in a vacuum his value being higher of course, since Mattison is only startable if Cook is hurt, but Mattison is talented enough that if he doesn't stick in Minnesota he could start for other teams.
