We happy with this?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

We happy with this?

Postby Houptie » Thu Oct 10, 2019 8:19 am

First year in dynasty startup. This is what I currently have...

QB: Dak, Lamar
RB: Saquon, Penny, Hill, Pollard, Hunt, McKinnon, Guice, Armstead
WR: Cooper, Beasley, A.Wilson, P.Campbell, Isabella, Richardson, AJ Brown, Boykin
TE: Andrews, Hockenson, Gesicki, Warring, Everett

2020 draft: 6 first rounders
2021 draft: 2 first rounders

Starting Lineup constists of QB, RB, RB, WR,WR, TE, WRT, WRT, WT

I think obviously my WR core leaves something to be desired but if isabella, campbell, or brown can develop into anything, thats a good start.

Well behind Saquon, Cooper and your TEs, your team is looking reeaaaalllllyyyy thin. Having 6 2020 1sts and 2 2021 1sts is great though. You should be in pretty good shape after next year's draft. Just chill and keep building

So you've got building blocks of Dak / Lamar / Barkley / Cooper / Brown / Andrews / Hockenson.

Plus 6 2020 1st rounders + 2 2021 1st rounders. Overall I think you have a very valuable team, but it will take 1 - 2 years before you start winning games.

I would also consider selling high on Cooper if you can get top7 value for him. I would also poke around on some of the under-performing studs right now - can you buy OBJ / Diggs / JuJu at a discount with some of those picks?

Current roster doesn't look very good, but having six 1sts next year should help.

I have offered 2 1st rounders for OBJ and 3 for Hopkins, neither team bit. good advice though

You have some good building block and the six 1st round picks is big. The picks should help you level out your needs and improve your roster overall.

Yeah its looking like 3 of the 6 are for sure top 6 picks with one of those being in contention with top overall. Being set at QB and TE imo means i can target some swift, jeudy type guys and hope for the best.

Obviously the team's future lies in what happens with the firsts, so it's really too hard to tell anything right now. I like Saquon and the TE's, not big on the rest of it.

Current roster isn’t ideal, but you have building blocks. If you can “tank” somewhat to try and get as high of a first rd pick as possible that will help. If Hunt gets a starting gig next year to pair with Barkley then that helps out tremendously for you as well. Your team should be set up pretty well after next years draft. With all of the draft capital you have acquired you will be able to move up, trade back, acquire proven vets when rookie fever hits at draft time. Good luck.
