David Johnson Trade Offers [POLL]

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which option is better?

Brandin Cooks + Gerald Everett + 2021 1st + early 2020 3rd for David Johnson

David Johnson Trade Offers [POLL]

Postby WhatWouldDitkaDo » Wed Oct 09, 2019 8:18 am

Trying to add RB depth for my team in sig. David Johnson just got put on the trade block, as that team plans to rebuild given his 1-4 record. I've made these two offers. Thoughts?

I like the Cooks offer more for your team out of the two deals. You can afford to lose Cooks.

I've been trying to swing a deal of Cooks + 1st, but he's been iffy. Would you still do the Evans for Johnson + 2nd deal?

Not a big fan of that trade. Evans hasn't been the most consistent player obviously, but I think I'd want more than a 2nd coming back my way.

Definitely yes on the Cooks deal, don't think I'd do the Evans deal, not confident in DJ's production this season or going forward (age, not producing well currently, new system, inconsistent health, etc).

Pass on the Evans proposal. Cooks is a decent trade and DJ makes your roster stronger.

I would pass on the Evans deal as originally constructed.

I don't love the 2021 1st in the first deal. That seems excessive.
"Marathon Square" - 16 team full PPR league with 24 player roster. Keep 16 per year indefinitely, draft 8. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Team DST
QB: Jordan Love, Deshaun Watson
RB: Travis Etienne, Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Kendre Miller, Jaleel McLaughlin, Sean Tucker, Deuce Vaughn
WR: A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, Michael Wilson, Kendrick Bourne, Tutu Atwell, Allen Lazard, Isaiah Hodgins, Xavier Hutchinson
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cole Kmet, Kylen Granson
K: Didn't make the playoffs in 2023  , and don't usually hold one in the offseason
Team DST: Cowboys, Lions

Picks:
2024: All my picks except 3rd rounder

Disclaimer: My one and only Championship in this league was way back in 2011. Therefore, take my replies with the appropriate grain of salt.
