The problem with getting hung up on this is that Cooks will continue to be productive while tied to a great offense for the foreseeable future...so why ding him for that instead of just accepting it for what it is? I like Amari Cooper but at a certain point you have to remind yourself that he isn't isn't 21 years old anymore and eventually the production matters more than a player's "potential" in fantasy.Fezzik wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 7:35 am Never ceased to be amazed by folks who don't even consider the context around the production (situation/efficiency/skillset etc). Cooks has had Brees, Brady, and been in a league leading offense under McVay for the last 4 years. Cooper had Derrick freakin Carr. If production is all that matters, I have to think your teams loaded up with "studs" like Kelvin Benjamin and Jordan Howard haven't been that great the last few years
I don’t understand why giving Brandin Cooks a basic level of respect means that you believe production is the only thing that matters. I think it's a pretty thin argument to make that Cooks doesn't deserve to be in the same tier of WRs as Cooper and that was really my only point. I'm also highly offended you've spoken about Benjamin and Howard in the same context as Cooks fwiw. This is a former Belitnikoff winner & first round pick with elite athletic measurables that we are talking about
