Cooper Kupp - Value Up?

I think Kupp's ceiling is actually higher than Cooks'. Cooks hasn't put up 33+ points since he left the Saints (and has only cracked 30 once, week 4 of 2017). Cooks has the bigger track record so he's probably a bit safer.

I've always been a big proponent of Cooks, but I think I'm ready to move Kupp in front of Cooks.

Goff is dependent on him, so as long as Goff is the guy - Kupp will be pretty valuable.

2020 1st (won’t be high), 2020 3rd, 2021 1st

That's not an over pay IMO. I wouldnt trade him for a mid to late 2020 1st and 2021 1st (the 2020 3rd is meaningless in a trade like this).

I am thrilled I got this guy in the offseason for what ended up being Royce Freeman, Peyton Barber, and Robby Anderson.

Traded down from 1.3 to 1.6 and Ebron. Ebron and Barber for Royce, then Anderson and Royce for Kupp.

I guess you’re right. It’s not an overpay for those of us who are ahead of the curve . I’m satisfied, but for instance, the DLF trade analyzer says a random 2020 1st is equal to Kupp. I know others feel similar. I wanted to trade for him earlier but I just didn’t have any depth to give up and I’m sticky with my draft picks. You got a steal though. Well done.

I dont pay for the service but the calculator still.works for me. I have to think it's an outdated copy...
If that says Kupp is worth a 2020 1st that's bonkers. way to go to grab him.

Its a very good reminder that even a years difference can change the perception around a trade. A year ago those 3 players were all "what if" or "on their way" but had not yet arrived. Luckily all 3 of them have arrived (although Ridleys sophomore year has been sluggish).

I don't think it does. Ever. Situations can change rapidly, and that is why talents that are more immune to that change will be regarded higher.

Nuk and Thomas way ahead for me. Likely OBJ still. Adams too.

After that, certainly debatable but I'd probably still have others in front of him...
