Yeah, Carson is the better back at this point. On a bright note for hopeful dynasty owners, Gurley finally looked really good for that drive.

Goff just had Cooks 10n 1 with all the DB's on the other side of the field pre snap. The corner ever came up to press and Cooks was running a deep route. Literally the only two guys on that side of the field in the secondary, and he doesn't even think about going there.

Honestly they strictly use him as a back to give Carson a breather. Maybe this is because of his injury? All I know is Goff is trash.

Penny almost gets a first down then they pull him for Carson to get stuffed! Nice. These teams man. Horrific personnel decisions. He must be performing really bad in practice to be getting this treatment

It boggles my mind that they don't throw him the ball in space. They raved about his 3 down skill set when they drafted him, and then don't ever throw him the ball. Never seen Carson and Penny on the field together, either. No imagination at all.

I honestly don't know what it is, I used to be excited for the upcoming games and to watch things unfold - I'm just not at this point.
I've only even really watched any games on 2 of the Sundays so far.

There have been some great games (ie. Lions vs Chiefs last week) - but there just doesn't seem to be any exciting dynamics this year. It's more of the same, to me.
I miss the enforcers, I miss the trucking RB's, I miss man to man coverage, I miss tough defenses .. tired of dink and dunk, the scat back, trying to define subjectivity (penalties), bad offensive lines, and back-up QBs.
