Agreed. Hooper is TE7 so far this year and was TE6 last year. I'm not sure why he's not already, but he should be valued in the tier of TEs behind Kelce, Ertz, Kittle and Engram at this point....which is in the ball park of Metcalf's value. I could actually see an argument for accepting this (particularly for someone with Olsen and Burton at TE). Don't know that I would personally, but it's not crazy.
I'd probably just counter DK Metcalf for Hooper + 2nd and see what happens. I'd be pretty happy with that...but I'm pretty high on Hooper and not super high on Metcalf so maybe that's just me.
