DLF Poll: Twitter/Social Networks

Postby dlf_jeffh » Thu Sep 26, 2019 7:41 am

Howdy DLF'ers,

Have a quick question for all of you and would like as much input and voting on this as possible. Please feel free to leave a comment further explaining your thoughts and feelings. If you would take just a few seconds to give me input on this, I'd very much appreciate it.

DLF is always looking to improve our service and your experience. To that end, we are always considering new offerings, services and ways to make the DLF eco-system even more impactful for each one of you, regardless of whether you are a Premium member or not.

When considering your social network (Twitter, Facebook, Slack, etc.) usage for FFB, which option best describes your habits/routine. Do you use social networks for access to personalities, strategy, tips, information, etc.?

Hope you are having a great season!

I use Twitter many times every day. It's my main source of news, and not just fantasy football. No Facebook or other social media.

It's mostly to stay on top of player and NFL news, not as much for strategy or tips. I use my own various favorite websites for that (weekly snap counts, targets, etc).
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Wish there was a "sometimes" or even a "frequently" option. Social media isn't my fantasy go-to so "routinely" isn't right, but I use it often enough that "rarely" is just as inaccurate.

I’m in a Rotounderworld Facebook group, but I rarely check in. I don’t really use Twitter, probably to my own detriment. I just feel like Twitter is the world’s largest spoiler, and outside of sports, I mostly live in a DVR world, so it’s not really worth it to me. I can deal with hearing the latest NFL news 10-15 minutes later than everyone else if it means that I don’t accidentally stumble onto someone talking about the latest episode of Walking Dead or Monday Night Raw when it hasn’t even aired yet here out west.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

I'm on Twitter constantly throughout the day during the season to get news, interesting stats, etc.

Not sure I've ever used Facebook for fantasy stuff. Does anyone under 40 still use Facebook in general? lol

I went with Routinely because I check twitter multiple times a day for news, insight etc for fantasy football. I also consume podcasts and player breakdowns (mostly for DFS purposes) on youtube. That is my typical use. I feel like multiple times a day qualifies for routinely.

That 32BeatWriters account has had me checking twitter every day since the NFL draft. It's perfect.
