Re: Antonio Brown
Well now he said he’s not playing in the NFL anymore. Mad that the teams can cancel deals and void guarantees whenever they want

Re: Antonio Brown
I don't have a problem 1with that, just a shame a player can't do that. Imagine if Trent Williams could void his contract because of how the Redskins handledhis medical issues?Badkins1121 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 6:40 am Well now he said he’s not playing in the NFL anymore. Re: Antonio Brown
I have to cut someone from team 1 in my sig. It has to be Brown, right?
Re: Antonio Brown
He's gotta still be the 1.01 in startups. For the XFL that is. He didn't say he was done playing football. Just for the NFL. He's got the larger than life personality, someone the media loves to fixate on, who says true and yet hypocritical things about their biggest competition. I'd be shocked if Vince McMahon hadn't already made the phone call.
And in eightteen months when the XFL folds, Antonio Brown can finally have his dream match with Rob Gronkowski. Hell. In. A. Cell.

Re: Antonio Brown
XFL has tweeted multiple times that they would not sign Antonio Brown - for what that is worth.

I'd cut Brady in a 1QB with Jackson and Newton but yeah Brown is closeMontrealBen wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 7:17 am I have to cut someone from team 1 in my sig. It has to be Brown, right?

I’m not acquiring any more shares of him...but in the two leagues I own him, I’ve got no choice but to hold unless
I get an offer that I can’t refuse.

Re: Antonio Brown
So he has said he won't play in the NFL anymore, specifically calling out the owners. Have to think he's blackballed at this point, based on that. He has now enrolled back at his college. People can probably go ahead and drop him, right?

Definitely not. I'd keep him over ~5 of your end of roster guys. Wouldn't cut Brady, though. Just trade him.MontrealBen wrote: ↑Sun Sep 22, 2019 7:17 am I have to cut someone from team 1 in my sig. It has to be Brown, right?

I remember back at the beginning of last season many many owners wanting a 1st for Burton.MontrealBen wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 10:57 amYeah, I kept him. Cut Burton. PFT reporting that three teams are interested but won't do anything until his legal situation is resolved. Meanwhile McCoy gets a pass for whatever reason.
Re: Antonio Brown
With the insane baggage you're getting, let alone immediate backlash (even though those fans wouldn't care if he produced eventually), I wouldn't touch him until everything shakes out either.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 11:55 am PFT reporting that three teams are interested but won't do anything until his legal situation is resolved. I was thinking about offering AB for Deebo or Waller but not sure that's the right move right now.Servo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 12:04 pmWith the insane baggage you're getting, let alone immediate backlash (even though those fans wouldn't care if he produced eventually), I wouldn't touch him until everything shakes out either.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 11:55 am PFT reporting that three teams are interested but won't do anything until his legal situation is resolved.
