Yeah, gotta think they would have had some type of out. I dislike the Pats, but they know what they're doing for the most part.

If he lands on the exempt list I doubt any team tries to sign him. If he doesn't, his best chances to return are keeping things on the DL this season, settling all his legal (and mental) issues, and accepting a pay cut for 2020. If he can do that I bet he finds a new home.

Agree but I doubt he keeps anything on the DL. More likely he gets a reality tv show.

I might have it wrong but I believe if he lands on the exempt list NFL aren't allowed to sign him.

The guy is done, IMO. This was his shot. I'm just glad my Raiders got out before this mess hit. It almost seems worth the 3rd and 5th(not really) at this point, watching Belicheck walk out of a press conference like that.

Brown is tricky because owners know he can produce, but many aren't going to sell for peanuts. It's the worst type of "asset" to have.

I think there's a realistic chance he doesn't play this season. Also, he's going to be suspended for threatening and intimidating the accuser. So even if he does play, who knows how much time that costs him.

I'd rather just avoid at this point. The outlook on his career has done a complete 180. At one point I would've felt comfortable riding out the production into the sunset.

Yep im buying just like the hill situation. If someone is selling for a 2nd or 3rd I'd jump on it your pick is gonna end up sucking anyway and AB has the potential to have a huge rebound in value although at 32 next season coming off a mental break im sure he won't command premium value ever again

After the Hill situation, I’ll take the opposite of what FantasyFreak proclaims, so I’m buying I guess.

If he were 27-28, maybe I'd consider it if I could buy at a discount and had room to sit on him. But the guy is 31, and seems to be completely melting down. Sure he's talented, but time is running out on him anyway as he's past his prime. Plenty of other ways to use your assets that won't compel you to chug Pepto Bismol to avoid throwing up in your mouth with each new revelation about his character.

I moved on from him in late August, and haven't given it a second thought.
