No way I would send Thielen for Landry/Drake yet alone adding to that.

As for Drake, I’m a Phins fan and the play calls and personnel we have been using is horrible. Drake is our most talented offensive player yet we refuse to give him the ball.

Long-term, I'd do this. Thielen is really good, but him and Landry are probably a wash in trade value. For the short-term, I wouldn't trade Thielen because he could be a league winner. So, it depends on what your team is looking like in the standings.

In standings - I'm 4-1. 2nd in overall scoring. Lost to the 5-0 team. The 5-0 team is legit but lacks depth. Overall, I like my team better.

The team I'm considering doing the Drake move with is 2-3 and currently is in 7th place out of 12 & has a roster of (projected normal starters) Dalton, A.Jones, McCoy, J.White, T.Hill, Thielen, J.Nelson, T.Kelce, Rams D. Kicker. He has no 1st or 2nd for next year but still has 3rd,4th, and 5th round picks for 2019.

So, I'm thinking..... I send J.Landry, K.Drake, 2019 3rd, 4th, 5th and a 2020 3rd for his 2020 1st and Thielen.

I think you're getting greedy and throwing in late picks isn't really helping get a trade done. Perhaps a couple second round picks would help your cause. Ultimately I think the problem with trying to get this done:

Any first > Drake
Thielen > Landry (though I think it's closer to a wash, current scoring is going to dictate this kind of valuation)

You'd need to come pretty strong to fill in the gap here.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

thx Skip

He responded and said he had no interest in J.Landry.

He countered with. Thielen and his 2020 1st for my James Conner and Juju.

Oof.

Value wise I do that.
However full disclosure - you probably would not find someone higher than me on Thielen. I am.also quite low on Conner.

That has a bigger chance of backfiring than trading away Drake, though.

Yeah. And that one has huge salary cap issues with it. Conner and juju are both very cap friendly. And, I've been starting both. Damn trade talks got my head spinning. I may resort to our original discussions of Drake for future 1st.

I've been busy in multiple leagues lately. Last night, I completed this doozy. I gave a 2019 3rd, a 2020 1st, and 4th for Dalvin Cook. Only catch is it was a trade with the strongest team in league. I'd consider myself top 3-4 in that league.

I do not play in salary cap leagues but if it hurts you that bad I would not do it - I agree you should get the Drake move done.

I'm a huge fan of Drake's talent, but I'd sell him in a heartbeat for a #1 (as an aside i'd prefer a 2020 #1 over a 2019).

The problem with Drake is that Gase is killing him, but if/when Gase gets fired, there's no guarantee Drake becomes a centerpiece of the offense because he lacks draft capital. Sad to say, but I think his best future is on another team.

Someone thought high enough of Drake, in one of my leagues, to move Chubb for Drake and a 2019 1st.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

K. Drake Possibly Getting Traded

Postby Dominus » Tue Sep 17, 2019 5:45 am

Does the possibility of Drake getting traded intrigue anyone? I'm discussing a potential trade for him, but, don't know how to evaluate it. I might have to give up someone like Penny, but, I'm not certain the gamble's worth it.

Any of you trying to get him?
