Ingram vs Green

Postby Space Cowboy » Tue Aug 02, 2011 12:11 pm

Who do guys value more?

I have a slight need at RB, where as Im pretty stacked at WR but I hate passing on BPA.

Whats the deal with Ingram's knee? I hear its bad, but its hard to pass on the Saints RB.

I get the feeling Ingram will be good for 3-4 years where as Green has 10-12 years.

that's the difference between RBs and WRs. That's also why you look maybe three years tops down the road when talking dynasty fantasy football.

As for this year, I think if it comes down to need, you either go with the WR, or the RB. I don't think you can go wrong with either pick.

Who's more likely to be more valuable a year from now? I think that without a doubt the answer to that question is Ingram. He's the stud RB for a high powered offense. Green is a rookie WR with no off season to learn the offense and has a rookie QB throwing to him on a crappy team. The odds of Ingram being worth a ton more are substantial. So, go that direction.

Exactly. Plus there is always a value edge to a productive RB anyway.

Side note: Nice to see a bunch of posts from you Kris. It seemed like it had been a while.
