A. Jones vs T. Boyd

Postby harveyd » Thu Sep 12, 2019 1:28 pm

Hi All,

Which side do you prefer? This is a 12 team league with tiered PPR (0.5 PPR for RBs and 1.0 PPR for WRs). I'm hurting at RB, bad.

Aaron Jones

vs.

Tyler Boyd

Team details below:
QB: Brees, Ryan
RB: M. Gordon, S. Michel, F. Gore, M. Davis
WR: TY Hilton, A. Jeffery, C. Kupp, T. Boyd, E. Sanders, K. Coutee, A. Miller, D. Chark, M. Lee
TE: D. Walker, D. Njoku

You might want to wait a couple of weeks to buy Jones. I doubt he'll help you much anyway short-term vs MIN, DEN, and PHI, all good run defenses (though DEN might not be anymore with Jacobs slicing them up for 85 yards and two TDs). If you need him now though, I'd pay Boyd for Jones.

I voted Boyd and agree with the above, Jones should be cheaper down the line after some tough D's. I also really like the look of Cincy's new offense, heavy passing attack and Boyd (especially with AGJ missing) will benefit in a big way. You definitely need RB help but Boyd is one of my favorite pieces on your roster, I would look to move someone else (like Hilton, Jeffery, Sanders) to bolster RB.

Boyd. He is the future for Cincy at WR and will produce even when AJG returns.

thanks guys - i rejected the offer. i'm thinking about countering with Boyd for Marlon Mack straight up. good idea? He said he's also interested in Hilton. Would you move Hilton over Boyd or vice versa?

I know it’s long term, playing multiple seasons, etc. Jones playoff matchups SUCK. Vs Chi, @ Minny, no thanks.
