So who do you think will win this years award based off of Week I?

I think it will be very hard to choose any candidates this year because there are a lot of veterans with past historys of production and sophomore / third year guys we've already moved on from

John Ross? - AJ Green isnt back so he could do it again

DJ Chark or Chris Conley? - Who is to say which of these guys Minshaw will keep feeding

Amendola? - Veteran whose biggest concern is staying healthy not being productive

Crowder? - Isnt this what his supporters have been hoping for? A Landry like season of high volume low yardage?

McLaurin? - Rookie Sleeper that wasnt really a sleeper to some ...

Cobb? - Was once a monster in GB for a few years

If anything, if we're going to have a Kevin Ogletree this year it might come from one of the 2 MNF games

So you might want to keep an eye on:

DeAndre Carter
Keith Kirkwood
JJ Nelson (maybe - already has 2 seasons of 500+ yards so not really an unknown)
Tim Patrick

If I had to choose a 1 week surprise - I'd go with Carter as he's bounced around the NFL a lot - and seems to be a potential replacement for Coutee (questionable).

Conley would be high on my list. I suspect Lee will start eating into his role and they were just easing him back in. He’s still listed as first team on the depth chart alongside Westbrook. They were also playing a trash defense, so the output isn’t as impressive as it looks. Chark will be up and down, but I suspect he’ll have more ups in his future and I don’t think Lee has any impact on his situational deep threat role.

I had him in a few spots but not starting. What a disappointment. I had him as a nice value guy this year.

Im adding Marquis Brown. That coverage was horrid, and he didn't look blazing fast to me

I'm gonna go with Dorsett.

I think Ross, Chark & Hollywood are for real.

John Brown. He got off a hot start last year with Baltimore too. He always fades.

Dorsett might have a chance to have a decent season if not for the whole AB situation. Similar thing happened last year and then the Pats went brought Gordon in.

I think people won't rush to buy Dorsett because of Brown, which would lead me more towards one of the other candidates. Why not keep it local and go with Gallup.

Last year he faded because once Lamar took over he could not throw within 3ft of his receivers, especially deep. In prior years he had health issues that seem to be taken care of now.

If Allen continues to grow as an accurate QB I think Smokey Brown will be a starting FF WR.

The only reason I didnt mention Dorsett was because he did it last year - and technically wanted to only list guys who had never had a big week before.
