Trade Tom Brady for a 2020 1st?!!

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade Tom Brady for a 2020 1st?!!

Postby Finfansteve » Sat Sep 07, 2019 6:31 pm

I’m leaning towards taking the first as brady is possibly my 2nd qb maybe 3rd depending on the week. How’s everyone feeling about him after the Pats acquired AB?
My other qbs are baker and Lamar Jackson. Should I keep him or take the first? It’ll probably end up mid-late pick next year

If this is a 1QB league them omg smash accept so fast WTH are you waiting for?

If this is a superflex, same response but I'm less well versed in superflex.

Keep Brady if you start 5 qb and are contending, otherwise you should’ve taken the 1st.

I should probably add that I’m in a decent position to win the league for the third time in a row and I’d be trading Brady to one of the only teams in the league that can really compete with my team consistently this year. He’s really only missing a quarterback on his team.
How would you guys approach it? Play keep away from him and let him try to dig out a quarterback from another team or trade him bradynandnlet the chips fall where they may? The way mayfield looked yesterday makes me think twice about trading Brady, and Lamar played well but will he play even half as well the rest of the year as he did yesterday. We changed some rules in the offseason and it seems like qb will become more important this year under the new rules.
I hate quarterbacks and sort of lump them in with kickers and defenses most of the time as to my regard for their importance to my team and I’d love the first round pick next year but I also don’t want to strengthen my arch rival either. 😬

It's hard but you need to try to only worry about how a deal affects your team and not the other one.

1qb you take the pick.

Too late. During the time you spent typing that rather than taking the good advice already offered to you I offered the guy Russell for his 2020 first and he accepted.
