Donald Trump is President. The Corvette will have its engine in the back. A 5'8 QB was the #1 pick in the NFL Draft.

Crazy bleep happens all the time.

Just a reminder that Adrian Peterson was indicted & accepted a plea deal. There is no indictment involving Tyreek Hill so far.

Also possibly the fact that Elliott challenged his suspension through the Courts had an impact - as Hill could have done the same thing - perhaps the NFL decided not to do a suspension they felt had a high probability of being challenged - and would cause longer & higher exposure to the incident than no suspension.

Yep. People who bought low on Hill this off-season basically won it. He was practically given away in some leagues.

I'll gladly admit I was wrong on the Hill narrative. The NFL punishment part, not the "he's a moral degenerate" part. Still clinging mightily to that one.

When you think about it in retrospect, it was an obvious dichotomy for the NFL. They only really had 2 choices on their ruling. Either blast the dude (gone for the year or more) or you let him off entirely...until the next chapter when Samuel Jackson's "get medeval on yo @r$e" will apply. How do you give a "2 to 4 game" suspension for ***anything*** having to do with violence against a child or woman. Answer? You do not. Full stop. There simply is no middle ground. You are either *proven* guilty and severe punishment or ... you're not. While I vehemently disagree with the outcome of the O.J. Simpson-like result, I do not for a second think Tyreek is "innocent" or close to it.

However, I do acknowledge the NFL's ruling and current reality. Hell, Tyreek is already being talked about as a "1st or 2nd" round startup pick again. Good luck with that! Would not be surprising if Karma catches up with mr Hill like a thief in the night when it's least expected.

This is not an OJ Simpson like result. That is utter BS. I'm actually getting a little bit angry at you for that characterization.

Simpson 100% murdered two people in a jealous rage, and a ridiculously incompetent prosecution and racist detective enabled him to get away with it.

Hill is a POS, but his ex-girlfriend lied to get him in trouble for something all objective evidence points to him simply not ever doing. And... that's it.

Tyreek Hill lands big extension

Postby TheNuts » Fri Sep 06, 2019 9:16 am

3 years 56 mil

https://www.rotoworld.com/football/nfl/ ... yreek-hill

Where's all the people who said he would never get an extension and he is 100% out of the League? The Chiefs don't want him. They will cut him. Those of us with rational reactions were right all along. We were the ones attacked from the start for using rational thought and patience. Maybe there is a lesson for some people to learn here?

Good for him, but the offseason still cost him a lot of money.

I think that's a good deal for both sides. This should put Hill's value back to where it was at the end of last year.

Not necessarily. He still got the 2nd highest annual salary and could still get a big pay day after the 3 years are up with higher salary caps then. If anything, he might end up making more money because this was a shorter deal and will still only be 28 once it expires.

I suppose the past can all be put to rest now in the context of the NFL and fantasy.

Believe he was rumored at a $100M deal before everything "hit" the fan

So yeah, he cost himself an @$$ ton of money.
